First of all I want to say that I am huge fan of simulation games and I have played a lot of Motorsport manager which I'll be comparing this game to that one.

Positives:
- Graphics are very nice, probably better looking game than F1 22 game.
- Licenced F1 teams, drivers, staff, F2 and F3 drivers and all F1 tracks.
- Car Upgrades/Development is detailed enough that its not simple, its as it is in real life. You have a lot of control over upgrades.
- UI when you're not racing is very good.
- Upgrading your drivers and staff with Development Points

Negatives:
- Animations when you're racing are weird, they're not following racing lines and are going all over the place and having large adjustements in very small period of time.
- Crashes sometimes look very silly and stupid.
- There are no F2 and F3 teams licenced so they're not in the game.
- There is no particular long term goal when playing this game unless you want certain driver win a championship with certain team.
- You cant create your own team.
- UI when racing is not clean enough and it takes a lot of space when you're monitoring certain actions.
- AI ingame are buggy a lot. They're not moving out of the way when being lapped, your AI always brakes to 0kmh when another AI is leaving the pits etc...
- Tyres ingame are currently not working properly (wets are faster than softs in dry conditions), and softs are only faster for average 0.200-0.300sec per lap on all tracks than hard tyres.
- There is no x32 speed to advance time faster
- You cant skip practice once you're done with everything when there is still time remaining on the clock.
- You cant save midrace
- AI is currently not upgrading their car fast enough (if at all) so game is very easy
- There is no game difficulty atm
- Overtaking on track can be done only on certain parts of the track where they coded at only if you're withing certain gap of the car ahead.
- Often drivers would not overtake car in front despide them having DRS and deploying ERS and when they have enough track left do to overtake while car in front has no DRS, instead car behind would just drive close to them, turn off DRS and drive behind them. (Wrongly coded)
- Facilities are way too cheap and you can upgrade almost everything instantly in season 1
- Currently car upgrades/development are giving way too much upgrades with just one upgrade. With one upgrade you can go from being 20th slowest car to being 8th fastest.
- On qualifying you can set everything to automatic cause everything you need to do is to make them leave garage and set them to push and use their ERS when they start their lap.
- When you set any ERS settings to "something" its doing that job only on certain part of the track they coded at instead of making it deploy at that right moment when we choose to do so.

And probably much more negatives which I cant currently remember on top of my head.
Keep in mind this game is probably in "early beta" with issues its having (a lot of them) despide it being released as full game and devs should be aware of them and will probably fix them later on down the line.

But for now I cant recommend this game for its price and current issues it has and Motorsport manager is better in every aspect of the game apart from graphics, licenced tracks, car development, UI, and upgrading your drivers as you want with points.

In short: Motorsport manager is better when racing but F1 Manager is currently better in technical side of it/managing a team.

Long story short Back in the day devs at h1z1 have been terrible but nowadays they are doing good enough job to keep game fun and updates in past couple of months have been excellent, bugs are getting fixed and all that, they started to listen to community and are active on reddit and are communicating well with players, game is fun overall and is fast paced and you may struggle at first when you got the game cause pretty much you would think that every guy that would kill you is a hacker, thats how fast paced this game is
