Cave Story is my favorite game of all time, but unfortunately I can not recommend this version of the game. Regardless of how you feel about charging 15 dollars for a free game, Nicalis' actions go further beyond that. There are wide allegations of abuse by the CEO, Tyrone Rodriguez, as well as complaints by multiple other developers about how difficult Nicalis was to work with. Nicalis has also issued DMCA complaints against any Cave Story fan games they can find, despite not even creating the IP themselves. Cave Story is a great game, but just go download the free version and a translation patch. There's not enough additional content here worth paying for.
