Early Access Review
This one surprised me. Invisible Inc's art struck me as unique, and after watching through the steam video I thoguht I would a shot. I am so glad that I did! I've played for 17 hours, at the time of this review and the fun hasn't stopped (thoguh it has slowed down). At first it was all about learning how to play and discovering unlockables, but now that I've mastered the basics it's about balancing my resources, making the most out of every turn, utilizing items in interesting and effective combinations, and sometimes sacrificing a loyal agent as a distraction to get the job done.

The randomization of the levels is well done, in my opinion. Enemy difficulty and map complexity ramp up as the player continues along the campaign or advances in Endless Mode (unlocked by beating the Story Mode), and thoguh it is true that sometimes the whole map funnels through ONE STUPID DOOR, even in desperate situations you can usually weasel your way through with some losses.

The AI is good enough for now, and I'm sure it will only get better as the game is built. There are bugs here and there, but overall it is in a very stable state for an early access game.

Some Tips:
-The mission names are descriptive. Make sure you pick ones that are best suited for your situation. Don't do the Contraband Templates missions if you are broke!
-Do detention missions until you have at least three agents. Three is vastly superior to two.
-You can rotate the camera wit the Q and E keys!
-Sometimes your agents die. Learn from what happened and start again

REMEMBER: If you open or peek though a door, melee reaction mode is disabled. This is the worst part of the game and has killed me many times.

CIv V is a great game that I've spent over 200 hours playing. That being said, if Civ IV had the same combat system and hexagonal tiles it would blow Civ V out of the water. Also, the patches for the mac version of Civ V lag behind the PC version like crazy. Still waiting for the major patch that rolled out last month on the PC version to hit Mac.

Evil genius is a great game that I’ve sunk 60 hours into thus far. You get to build your evil lair into a couple of different islands and steal technology, cash, and treasure from the world powers, all the while defending against attacks by soldiers and secret agents. The flexibility in base layout is a great part of the game, as the way you set yourself up really affects the gameplay. You have to keep your many henchmen functional by providing healthcare, sleeping quarters, entertainment, and such. Of course, if one of them displeases you, execute him. You also need to remember to build your power generators, your gold storage room, your control room, your evil inner sanctum, a prison/armory, a research laboratory, and more. Of course, there are problems. For whatever reason, steam doesn’t update the game all the way, so you need to find the official patch somewhere. You’ll also want to download the unofficial patch, and the “Bonus CD” content that steam didn’t include.

I bought this because I loved the movie Pitch Black, and had heard that this game was actually pretty good. I was not disappointed. The voice acting is great, the story is above average, and the gameplay reminds me of half-life 2 at times. You can play it as a stealth game or as a typical FPS if you like, and it’s a lot of fun. Nothing revolutionary and the lip synching is literally the worst I have ever seen, but aside from that it’s worth your time. It comes with the original game plus the second one, and it took me 14 hours to get through both of them.

I'm not usually one to play the point and click adventure genre, but this one sucked me in early. The story and voice acting are actually really good, and I played all the way through. When the credits started to roll I found out why it wasn't a terrible, terrible game: The dialogue was written by Orson Scott Card, and the story partially came from Stephen Speilberg, back when he was awesome. Anyways, you should play it.
