This is what they wanted the original games to be?

I guess that means they were great because of the limitations of their times, rather than in spite of them.

EDIT: my review isn't counted in the overall score for the game because I acquired it by activating a steam key. That steam key came from my Collector's Edition, received from backing the game on fig years ago.

So, I and the rest of the people who believed in this game and were let down do not matter.

Go figure.

Remember when games were just... fun? Arrowhead does.

Well, the dev team does. Community managers are tools and Sony is brainlessly evil.

But nothing really compares to dropping your hellpod onto the friend who called a cluster bomb down on you.

I'm glad I got my time in before the Creation Club grift started.

Adding bounty hunting at $7 per quest before the first DLC is released is a hilariously smoothbrained decision.

Logistics is the name of the game here.

If your reaction to Sectors and Stockpiles is "why can't I just have all my stuff in a big invisible pile that instantly teleports resources to where they're needed?!" you will have a miserable time.

Sometimes you'll go back to replay a game, and it looks and handles and feels way worse than your nostalgia-tinted memories.

This is the *exact* opposite of that.
