I had a blast playing this game for this first time. The human classes are all very useful so it is important that the group works together as a team. The learning curve does not seem to be that bad. The controls are very simple to use and understand. I would just suggest that there would be a few more tooltips so that players can understand how everything works.

There has been the complaint about a good monster can destroy the hunters. I feel this is in some way true. As I was loading into the game as a monster a friend gave me tips on how to play. Basically it's a stealth game when you are level 1; trying to run, hide, and eat to level up. That could be a problem. Matches would go on for a very long time because I was good at hiding from the hunters. The first match I played I got to level 3, which wasn’t any real problem, and died somewhere around the 12 minute mark. My second match, I played much slower and dragged the game out to 24 minutes. I knew what I was doing this time and the hunters no longer seemed to be a threat. To be fair, this was alpha so the hunters may not be as experienced in how to track and hold the monster.

tl;dr
Hunters are unique and need to work together. Monster can drag game on by sneaking a lot; becomes almost unstoppable at level 3.
