If you're not familiar with the Counterstrike series, it's a great team based tactical shooter meant for 5v5 matches. It does however require quite a bit of practice to even begin to compete with the veterans that surround this series.

If you are familiar with the Counterstrike series, CS:GO plays like a mix between Counterstrike:Source and Counterstrike 1.6. CS:GO has quite a bit of potential with the added ranked matchmaking.

If you like the Counterstrike series and are not afraid of a few balance issues (the game is actively being worked on) get this game.
