This is a great game with a promising backbone. However a rushed launched to capitalize on the holiday sales left a plethora of bugs which leaves the game very unenjoyable if not unplayable. A lot of the issues can be fixed with mods, so if you don't mind spending 50 dollars on a game that then needs to be fixed with mods then this is a game for you. Otherwise I'd stay clear. The AI has super human reaction speed, super human hearing (can hear you walking from multiple rooms away) and super human aiming and recoil control. The AI will hear you and put a burst of full auto through a wall aimed directly at your head from two rooms away. Or, the AI will go from lower ready to firing within 200ms, faster than most people can react. Add the sub-optimal behavior of the AI and the your broken team AI that often freezes in doorwats and map design that puts you and your 5 man team clearing an entire hospital or hotel (a situation which would have at least multiple teams breaking simultaneously, I don't know why the devs decided to have you be in charge of a small team clearing gigantic maps) it kind of leaves me feeling dissapointed with the direction this game went.

I am putting recommended because this game devs deserves the good reviews and renegotiation for what they made and I want people to see the potential this game has. That being said, wait until you buy,

Right now the game is very bare bones. The current map is good, but there is a lot of back tracking and not exactly clear where you need to go sometimes. With one play through it feels like I've experienced all this game has to offer as there is no randomness. All the guns, loot rooms, enemies, code, and rooms are all in the same place or same location. This vastly limits replayablity. First time I played, it was amazing I had no idea where anything was, didn't know what to expect and got stressed out and jumped scared many times. 2nd run through did not feel the same. For this reason alone I can't recommend people buy this game right now, 20 dollars for a one time experience is not worth it. They're are different game modes like PvP, wave survival and a raid mission that I have experimented with for a little, but again, they're bare bones but show a lot of promise.

The Gun play is amazing, I was honestly expecting some mediocre gun physics, weapon handling, sounds and customization options. I was wrong. Every gun sounds amazing, the handling feels nice and I love how many customization options there are. The handling is more thorough than some other games that strive for realistic guns: you have your obvious like Aim down sighs, but even canted sights, and 2 different types of hip firing. I thought the customization might be limited behind some sort of leveling system but I was pleasantly surprise. Every single optic, laser or grip you can want is unlocked from the very start and you can pick and chose what you want to put on your gun sandbox style. Gun fights with the enemies are pretty intense and sounds amazing you can even hear the the bullets crack as they fly by. Sadly the aforementioned issue of knowing where everything is after one play through really hurts this as now I know where the ambushes are.

The AI can use some work. They're zombie like creatures that just ran at you brain dead style which is alright but thats about 70% of the reason why I'd have to shoot my guns. Having all these amazing gun physics to shoot into hordes feels like a waste. Enemy NPC are pretty brain dead atm too and mostly relay on surprise and overwhelming numbers to one up you. Causing a few well aim shots to end most fights fairly quickly. The enemy mostly just stand still or charges you. (suggestion to the devs is to make the enemys move more tactically and maybe have rouge groups that can chance upon the players, keeping us always on our toes and giving us more chances to get into gun fights.)

SCPs are good, but they're too few of them but this is most likely due to this game being early access and I'd hope there will be more added soon. I'd like it if the SCPs interactions are integrated with more enemies or other hazards causing the player to split their focusing because right now the SCPs are 'fairly' easy to deal with. The screen anomaly was cool, never experienced anything like in a game before and it was pretty challenging to deal with, but that really the only one that caused a headache.

Right now for being EA the game is really good and has a lot of potential. I'm happy I bought it though for the price listed right now unless you are a die hard SCP fan, wait for a sale. The replayabilty is pretty low and for 20 USD is a lot for a 2-3 hour experience on the main map. The raid looks promising but that map is unoptimized at the moment and I struggle to run it above 40 FPS. For any causal gamers/scp fans I would personally tell you to wait for more updates before buying the game

This game is perhaps the best VR dog fighting game you can find right now. It controls are simplistic enough that you can easily function the craft with the most limiting VR controls, but at the same time in depth enough that you feel fully immersed in the flying and management of your different systems. The flying and performance is also great too! As someone who plays a lot of DCS world I was initially disappointed in the lack of "realism" but I soon found out my fears where unfounded and it was just enough to have fun. If you are coming from DCS with the same fears as me worry not this is an excellent VR game!!
