The best action RPG I've ever played, it's up there with all the greats. They've built one of those world you want to see again and again in more games or books or anywhere really. There's nations that constantly do stuff to or with each other, nothing exists in a vacuum. And fighting the Epics is always fun because you keep returning to them with more spells and better gear. The game doesn't use levels, and while you do eventually make gear out of unobtanium, the game never feels like it's the purely stats that made it easier. Also the movement options are great, your first big one will be a sticky bomb you can use to leap on the gaint Arks.

The roguelike loop doesn't necessarily only mean every day is reset - it also means that the mansion itself is a part of the puzzle. And how you play your cards (rooms), since they can't repeat, determines which mysteries you'll be uncovering.

As far as how the puzzles work, it's not like you get to sit in a tiny room stare at a wall and solve a thing on a board to move on. Those exist but they're quick and simple to get you resources for solving them. What happens much more is you're piecing together clues from around the mansion to use them in specific places, you're making tools to interact with things you've noticed, you're making notes. You're building the mansion in a specific way.

Forced stealth section that repeats from the very beginning an hour into the game. I don't believe for a second anyone who can design a good game will ever do that.

Great mix of top down view and soulsy combat with stat and ability based gear upgrades. Looking forward to playing as the game develops. It's not POE or diablo, it's more like souls.

Early access so: unfinished in most ways. I will recommend if you don't mind that, the game that is there is already very good.

It's a quite easy to get into monster hunter game. You might like it if you passed on the cumbersome world. The maps are smaller and flat, and they just tell you where the monster is. Prep in hunt this time is collecting endemic life (consumable helpers) and spiritbirds (stat boosts). So you load into a hunt, go your prefered collecting route for about a minute and then go straight to the monster. Or you just fight it right away like the Chad you are.

If there's cons, I can only compare to world but I quite liked their previous attempts at simulating life in an ecosystem which is completely abandoned in this one. The maps have no verticality and the wyverns don't have any interesting behaviours outside of their movesets and the occasional turf war. I'm also not a fan of move cooldowns, which with the wirebug system all weapons revolve around though some depend on it more than others.

Really appreciate a game where you start with a complete character. No unlocks at all. You can go wherever you want and you'll be able to get to the end of the branch.

Just found this game randomly browsing steam for something small to play. Couldn't wish for a better find.

Even if you're not into making levels this game already has thousands of them.

Very fun mechanics. You got your shell jumps, box jumps, kick jumps, grappling, warping, walljumps, celing hangs, even stealth..... very much recommended. Amazing platformer.
