EDIT: My previous review was complaining about a bug that continuously crashed the game. I got a refund but since then decided to give TSW 2 another go, and fortunately that bug has been fixed and I can give a review. Graphics are good, but they glitch out somewhat often. Physics seem pretty good, and frame rate is ok. However there are bugs after bugs that don't seem to be looked at. If you save your game mid scenario, when you load it the information bar that instructs you doesn't show up, and you can't progress and are forced to restart. And then even if you play a scenario in one go, there is the possibility that the instructions don't update, even though you've followed them, and once again can't progress and are forced to restart. In some scenarios, critical information is missed out. For example during the Fully Fuelled scenario on the American line, a 2 hour scenario mind you, the train was stuck on a hill and couldn't continue. After 20 minutes of googling and YouTubing, I finally came across a video where the guy mentioned that there was a particular button you had to press in the train that would provide it with more power. This wasn't mentioned AT ALL during the scenario. I can't give the game a positive rating with these bugs alone let alone the many others that pop up in the game, as it's not always an enjoyable experience when you're worrying that you may have to redo a 2 hour + scenario when you're so close to the end.

The reviews speak for themselves and so there is no need to repeat them. However what I will say is, to make your gameplay experience all the better, download the ProMods map, it's utterly ridiculous and you won't ever turn back.

Playing this using a Logitech G29 with clutch, a very enjoyable experience. Steam workshop has really come clutch because the game does get boring driving the same cars over and over. SCS already mentioned that they were using the same engine for American Truck Simulator that they used for Euro Truck Simulator 2, so of course there is hardly a difference in that area. However the map feels fresh, there's a whole different feeling to it when compared to ETS 2. Somehow it feels better optimised too. And £15 is not a bad price at all. Looking forward to future dlc, but would recommend at this current time anyway.
