It is the perfect closure to the Yakuza series. You can tell the studio has taken all the good from the bad from the previous titles and incorporated it into this game. I am so glad I spent the time to play every single main title to get to where we are now. The main story is a bit shorter than what you would be used to from previous games, but there is no shortage of content. Kiryu finally gets his true ending and now its Ichiban's turn to be the poster boy. You would be doing yourself a disservice not playing this game if you are a true fan of the series.

Its crack

Would give it a mixed if I can, but for the sake of my enjoyment I will give it a positive for now.

Lets start with the cons. Network stability and optimization definitely can use some work. Story is as cheesy as every monster hunter and Nata is a horrible character, but lets be real.. the game was never about the story its about the grinding and the fashion. I'm running a pretty powerful rig and the game can look great, but blurry at the same time even with adjusted post processing settings. I played up to high rank with max settings and a smooth experience. With high resolution textures although the game looks great, it is causing major instability issues with my frame rates and crashes. Multiplayer has no reason to be this convoluted now. Links make no sense and paired with poor networking its just a disaster.

Now for the pros. Game is fun as hell. Would't be as many people playing it if it wasn't. Pacing is one of the best in a monster hunter game so far, if you don't think so then you haven't played older titles like tri. Feels like you get right into the action as the role of an experienced hunter and don't go around discovering what a monster is for the first time. Mixed female and male armor sets change the entire game and lets you play around with how you want your hunter to actually look without being locked to a specific style. I have seen a lot of people complaining about difficulty. I personally don't see any change. High rank feels like any other high rank. Early tempered monsters like Lala Barina feel more like a tutorial and introduction rather than what a tempered is supposed to be.

Overall Its fun and I have no regrets with my purchase. Game isn't cheap so i understand how people can be upset with the current state especially if you aren't running the highest spec machine.

15 Years have passed since I played my first stalker game. Many things have changed throughout my life, but the zone remains the same. Welcome back stalkers.

S-tier time killer

Half baked so far. Will wait for more updates before I revisit. Graphics and effects are very pretty, but with audio issues/awful compression somehow worse than a Ubisoft game, bad optimization, uncanny voice acting, and weird character shaking during cut scenes makes me not want to stick with it for now.

One of the first games I have played where I can safely say its worth the full 70 dollars.

11 long years of waiting

Returning player from Warmind. Learned after I bought all the expansions that I cant even play them due to the campaigns being vaulted? Constantly forcing you into newer content so older players have no clue what is going on. No direction outside of that. Why would I want to play the witch queen expansion when I haven't even started forsaken. Decided to start the witch queen expansion just out of sheer desperation for some type of value from the content I purchased up until the next time i log in it automatically teleports me to europa to start Beyond light. Game used to be really fun, but now seems like Bungie's ♥♥♥♥ practices have no regard for newer or returning players. No thanks...
