So after playing this for 65+ hours already over the years its been on Steam plus plenty of hours before that point - I can safely say this is one of the best F2P games out there, period. You get a ton of content for nothing, and while you can buy frames (obviously) in the in-game store, you can also just keep playing the game until you find the materials etc needed to craft the frame yourself. Plus you can do the same for weapons etc. Certainly not a P2W situation. Graphically, and audibaly the game is stunning. Each time they add a new tileset or enemy variety, things just get better and better. Combat feels superbly responsive these days. Along with the parkour and movement systems - its just great stuff all around.

Highly recommended, especially since its free, and there really isn't any pay walls holding you back from enjoying any of the content. I mean you can stay with your starter warframe and be super happy and have tons of fun that way. Enjoy :)

More of the same good TD fun from Signal Studios. I'm not some PC elitist who can't deal with a 30fps lock, I mean get real. Not a deal breaker and runs fine as it is. Uplay is fine also, just like Origin. Sucks you gotta run it while playing, but it's not that big of a deal either. Plus, Uplay works great nowadays. Heresey!

I've been playing this game for awhile while it was in EA. Simply put, it's an incredible game. I've never really liked the "rogue-like" genre to much. But mix it with an FPS (that doesn't look like doodoo) and have sweet sweet rewards like skills and perks after each play (and during play) and you get a winning combination. The game also looks good, it has a very nice art style overall. But the lighting effects and some of the textures (note: note all but it's a nitpick) are simply stunning to look at.

As per the usual rogue-like way, you get permadeath and all that good stuff also. You unlock different characters to play with by completing certain tasks such as completing the game, or doing a certain amount of kills using a wand or specific weapon type etc. Just a nice bonus to the character system imo.

Also it must be said, the developer(s) is super involved with the community so far. He answers forum threads quickly, and has added and removed things that people asked for. Now that the game is out of EA, the only thing I hope he adds is a bit more content. As it is, you only get the 5 floors to play through (which is hard enough mind you) right now. Workshop support would be ideal, but that's probably wishful thinking.

Needless to say, I highly recommend this game.

Had this on Desura for a long time. Really fun game. Don't let the Silver Dollar Games name put you off (they made tons of crappy XBLIG, specifically so they could eventually make this game) as this is a well put together gem. You can use the keyboard or a controller (which I think is new, but don't quote me on that) and you literally only use two keys. Simple as pie, but hard as hell.

Get this game. If you don't, you are poopy. Plus, the game rocks.
