An amazing game played solo in public matches; and furthermore enhanced with friends and community. The community surrounding this game is incredibly special, and will assist new players with helpful information at every turn. After almost 200 hours, this game has given almost everything I wanted from a multiplayer milsim experience. Everything from the engine to the mechanics of the game have been designed to be approachable and should offer newcomers and veterans of the genre enough content and depth that they desire.

Even though I believe this game offers the best massive multiplayer milsim experience in the modern era; I also believe that the media presentation of Squad can be a little misleading. Unless you have an experience commander (team leader) coordinating with other experienced squad leaders -- the pace of the game will be notably slower.

Squad is an excellent game, but know what your purchasing before you play it. Be prepared to walk, and most importantly, HAVE and USE your mic.
