This game is extremely engaging and I keep coming back to it. A simple premise, but surprisingly deep. Since purchase, the game has been updated many times and it seems to consistently improve.

Strongly recommend. Well done!

11/10, maybe the single best game I have ever played, more layers than the world's biggest onion.

- Breathtaking world and level design
- A huge and well-balanced array of weapons, armor, magic and items to vary up your style every time
- Some of the most memorable boss fights in the history of video games
- An engaging story that slowly and patiently reveals itself to you
- The cleverest, most hilarious multiplayer system I've ever played

If I could have sex with games, there are some that would be worthy of one-night stands, some that would merit a fancy dinner beforehand and some that wouldn't even deserve a drunken fumble (lookin' at you, Infestation: Bulls**t Stories).

Bastion, though?

I would propose to that sh*t ON THE SPOT, man. Beautiful to the eye and to the soul.

...which is my slightly drunk way of saying 'buy this game'. Seriously, it's utterly brilliant. Like, my favourite game.

You'll laugh in exasperation, you'll cry bitter tears of pure frustration, you might destroy things in your general vicinity.

But completing Super Meat Boy is the most beautiful moment I've ever experienced as a gamer. You can't have pleasure without pain, and SMB trusts you to push through the intense frustration and reach the promised land.

I love this game so freakin' much.

10/10, changed the way I play games, buybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuy

...seriously, does anyone even need to review this game?

It's freakin' TF2, man. It's like the best thing ever. It's Jesus wearing stylish headgear.

This game is freakin' EXCELLENT, man.

The controls are tight, the '100 lives' mechanic is a great concept, and the music is excellent. I'm a huge fan of the respawn system - you can set a respawn point whereever you want, which keeps the game moving forward nicely even if you're finding a section difficult. The visuals are very minimal but pleasant to look at regardless.

A playthrough of the game is short, for sure, but it's cheap and it has LOTS of replay value - the main challenge comes in beating your own time and score, doing a speedrun or trying to beat the monstrously difficult YOLO mode (it's so hardddddd).

That said, although I'm really enjoying it, it would be nice if some more levels were added in the future. It certainly wouldn't hurt.

If you're a fan of challenging platformers like Super Meat Boy or VVVVVV, there's no excuse for not owning this, cause it'll be perfect for you. If you're on the fence, just buy it. It's fun, it's cheap and it has more than enough replay value to make up for its short run time.

I LOVE it.

...get it? Ahahahahahahahahaha *sigh*

I bought LYNE in the midst of a massive Steam buying spree because it was crazy-cheap. Because of its price, I expected to play it for 30 minutes and never touch it again, but surprisingly I've ended up playing this more than anything else I bought. I love, love, LOVE this game.

It's so simple but it's FLAWLESSLY executed. The gameplay is simple but never boring. The visuals and music are minimal, which is great because they're never annoying or distracting. The puzzles aren't massively difficult, but that's actually a good thing because there are lots of levels, which can each be solved quickly to create a continual sense of satisfaction and progress.

Just buy it. It's cheap, fun and there are new puzzles daily. 10 outta ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥' 10
