Mielettömällä määrällä savescummausta pelin kesto on n. 120h.

+ Paljon puzzleja (noin 100-150 kappaletta, riippuen paljon haluaa pelata)
+ Pään käyttämistä työvälineenä vaaditaan
+ Grafiikat suhteellisen modernit, muttei erityisen optimoidut
+ Pelimaisemat / world building pääasiallisesti kaunista
+ Lasereita

Early Access Review
A very good VR multiplayer. It basically is a counter-strike clone in VR with extra features. A lot of community made content, which brings a plenty of spice to the game itself.

Enjoyable mix of open-world and linear FPS adventuring
Story is decent and the missions around it are great. For the most of the time, there is a lot of room for player to decide what to do in which situations and the game doesn't babysit the player.
Resources and the management of the equipment are done really great in this game, and makes you really consider whether you should spend all your ammo on a pack of monsters or just sneak past them. "Karma" system is a little stupid and feels unimportant. (when you sneak behind an enemy you have option to kill (=bad) or knockout (=good) and there is really no point in killing the enemy since the outcome is exactly the same, or even better in some cases). Also, from my experience and understanding the main effect with your (invisible) karma is which of the 2 endings you get.
I looted and free-roamed a lot and the main game took me roughly 20 hrs.

Overall, a great single-player game to grab on sale.

Totally worth the price, especially on sale. A whole lot of things to do, great graphics, great lore and devotion to "staying true to the history and culture of medieval times". The game has a lot of detail to it, for e.g. many quests can be done in many ways and different outcomes, which I think is one the greatest things the game has to offer.
(SMALL, SPOILERS, AHEAD)
For example in one quest you have to scout a bandit base. You can A) Infiltrate bandit base by dressing up as one B) Try to join them by speaking to a certain person C) Scout around for places to ambush and sabotage their equipment D) Not even scout the base and just simply tell your "leader" to start the attack or E) Do a variation of all of those.

Also in many other quests there are hell of a lot of smaller quests inside the main quest, which give you the freedom to do as you like. Freedom as in means of you can even accidentally find what you are looking for in a main quest.
On the other hand, I feel like the complexity of possibilities causes sometimes bugs when things go in conflict: For e.g. you have to speak to a person a certain area you're not allowed to, you ran past the guards and start speaking to the person, then in the middle of the action guard stops you, sends you to prison or out of the area and the quest bugged.)

The most basic consequence is that you don't get a quest mark for next mission or you'd have to do something you can't anymore. This is usually fixed by loading previous save and choosing differently, which can be quite frustrating if you haven't saved in a while. That being said, I did not like the fact you can only save manually by drinking a certain potion, taken into account that there is not much autosave-spots other than in the main questline. So If you want to enjoy the game without "oops i forgot to save in 2hrs of doing side missions" or "oops i bugged the main quest and forgot to save in 2hrs" I suggest you download the unlimited saves mod from nexusmods. (Unless you want to brag on the internet how hardcore gamer you are.)

This game is one of the best VR games so far. Attention to detail is superb everywhere you visit ingame. Half-Life: Alyx manages to explore many possibilities of VR environment throughout the game, and the whole game is kinda like a big, extended tech demo with great story in Half-Life universe. That being said, there is still some room to improve (e.g. smarter enemies, melee combat, more different puzzles etc.) but surely they had to leave something out so they could set the bar even higher when releasing the next HLVR game! (Hopefully sooner than in 10 years)

Great game, more about the epic stories, characters and visuals rather than gameplay mechanics or difficulty. Nonetheless a modern classic.
