FSX is the greatest PC game of all time, hands down. It's kept alive and fresh from the 1000s of addons available, probably the most of any game in history.

Out of ALL of them you only need one, Megascenery Earth. Any or all...actually I got it all. Freemesh is second (and free!)

Contrary to misguided belief, FSX DOES use and benefit from 4 or more cores as long as you apply the affinity mask tweak in the config file (google it). Running 8 cores or higher is Nivana (for the above addon). You DON'T need to put all your scenery on a big SSD. Waste of money!

Here's one more tip: copy the Tail view section from the aircraft.cfg file for the P51 Mustang into any or all of your other aircraft...You'll see what I mean.

I'll be enjoying this game for another 10 years.
