If you're looking for an authentic WWII experience with the combat of tanks and planes you're out of luck here. They have made WWII era tanks fight against Cold War era tanks and their HEAT FS rounds. This makes it almost impossible to fight a lot of the time because the ones that use this round can just point and click while you have to manually range the enemy from a distance. If they ever bring back the ability to fight WWII vs WWII I'll change this review to a positive. Sadly, I don't see that happening in the future.

This game is far less buggy than Yakuza 0. However, I have run into the equipped items and inventory items all changing into various foods or other items bug. The game has a good story and doesn't feel like you have to grind non-stop on anything other than Majima, of course.

However, there are many frustrating moments in the game due to your hit box being bigger than your character model. You may think you're about to counter the enemy only to be hit while his fist seems to be 6 inches away from you. Furthermore, the camera likes to rotate itself to annoying angles while you're fighting and will sometimes cause your forward swing to spin you around when it pans into an object like a pillar in the middle of a room because, for a split second, the game thinks you're looking backwards.

Despite my frustration with certain mechanics in this game, I recommend giving the game a try if you're into Japanese culture or just like to play fighting games.

Despite my low playtime, I have played this game a lot. It was created back on DOS and came on a floppy disk. This is one of the classics that always has people coming back for more. It was an amazing game at its conception and people still enjoy playing it. This is why a reboot was made. Furthermore, there are many mods available for this game. There are many different ways to experience the game because the community for it is still alive.
