I love this game; the difficulty curve is just right, the color scheme and danmaku patterns are beautiful, and the Warinside's soundtrack is absolutely amazing.
My only nit-pick is that the upgrade point cap feels extremely low: you get 1400 points, but maxing out any single system takes 700-900 points. This is probably for balance reasons, the game wouldn't be very difficult if you could take dozens of hits before going down or melt through a boss' health bar in seconds, but I suppose I've been conditioned by other games with point-buy systems to be able to max out at least a few stats by the time I hit the cap.
