These are some of the most committed game developers I have ever seen. Weekly updates since release basically. And this isn't little hotfixes, they are adding content, every week. Sometimes it's a new weapon, or new armor set, or a new mount even, and then sometimes it's a DLC expanding the game's environment, adding new biomes, new creatures, new recipes, new everything. It's super exciting.

I love dumping hours into a run, playing to the end of the playable content, and putting it down for a bit. And I'll revisit in a couple months, knowing I'll be coming back to a brand new version of the game, always watching for what comes in week to week!

The best sandbox / crafty / survival game I have played to date. An exciting "man vs. nature" play style that I cannot recommend enough. I've bought it for several friends, and convinced several more to purchase it as well.

This game was gifted to me on a sale.

Upon launching I got major vibes like it was a boomer fever dream come true. "Retired old as hell ex-military/superhero pulled out of retirement for a top secret mission to save <whoever>."

I played roughly 16 minutes, and got the most realistic ending to the game possible. Accustomed to games such as the Xcom franchise, the gameplay seemed similar. I engage in a fight, and almost immediately the protagonist to the story was just brained against a pickup truck. This seemed to be a realistic conclusion to how this campaign should have actually ended, and I uninstalled it.

Lotta gripes about the most recent update(s). There are plenty more to come, they are workshopping balancing the game. They made it more noob friendly and it seems the elites with the busted gear are whining because they aren't invincible any more? PvP is more skill based, I'm new and I suck, so I need to get good. If you are hundreds of hours deep and still suck that's not a fault of the devs.

Overall, game is a ton of fun with friends, high learning curve PvP, quarterly wipes are a boner killer but otherwise really enjoying the game so far. I'm sure the updates to come will continue to improve the overall state of the game.

There's some good things I could say about the game, sure. But all I want to tell you is, YOU CANNOT MAKE YOUR OWN NAME. How absurd of a concept in today's age where I can straight have a solid name, say "ManCrammer" on another game. I'm known for my awful name selections and this game deprives us of that entirely. I cannot recommend this game until these communist name bans are lifted. Until then, call me "Wonky Fallen Moon," the name I was assigned when I started this damn game. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous.

Playing through the game with a friend I worked with in a Corrections Facility has made the game ten-fold better than it would have been with another friend. It is crucial that whomever you play with have some history, or otherwise chemistry to make the game better. The game-play and plot is fairly stale, but the situations and people within the game leave endless possibilities for hilarity. We have played through the game as a comedy, with our own ridiculous narrating that made the experience infinitely better. Grab a friend and buckle up.

After your first few hours the game isn't scary with the exception of the occasional jump scare when someone sneaks up on you.
Chases get the blood flowing, very exciting feeling. Haven't got that feeling playing any games in the past.

The devs do a good job at keeping updates and hot fixes flowing. Very active in the community and constantly keeping things balanced.

The community is only as toxic as you make it. If you start throwing a fit about something you are liable to be trolled to no end, but if you are a good sport you will be met with the same behavior.

If you are easily frustrated this game may not be for you. Very steep learning curve but also tons of players happy to help you overcome it.

Played the original for roughly 800 hours. Enjoyed the unique play style, and refreshing take on a RPG/FPS. Played the second one for a couple hundred hours. Felt about identical to the first, with new faces, similar plot. Refused to touch the Pre-Sequel due to the burnt out feeling I got from forcing the second game down.
Now this one. This one feels fresh, it feels new. It doesn't feel like the same game 4 times in a row. They kept the humor, and the originality that made me love the first one, but also added enough that it feels like a new take on the series. Sex/10

Bring friends and have sexy times.

Price is a bit steep and I don't yet know how long the game will be. But overall not even a little upset with the purchase. I hate fighting games with a passion, and that was my biggest concern with this game. But the combat feels good, and it's not too difficult for someone like myself that is grossly incompetent when it comes to fighting games. Best Dragonball Z game I've played since Legacy of Goku.

About the only complaint I have about the game is the graphics. It's a solid game, a ton of fun with friends. When the full release drops in 16 years it has a ton of potential for best zombie game ever.
RPG elements on point. Multiplayer is on point. Crafting is on point. Heat / Cold effects aren't overwhelmingly cancerous. One of my favoritest zambie games.
