Update/Edit: While Sony has reversed the PSN Account link requirement, leaving review as no to stay as a reminder of what Sony tried to do

This "DO NOT BUY"/ do not recommend is due to the actions of the publisher Sony (listed as PlayStation PC LLC in Steam) and Not due to the developer Arrowhead.

The main issue I have with the PSN/Sony Account Link requirement is due the the following:
With the PSN/Sony Account Link supposed to always have been a requirement, how can a publisher in good conscious sell a PC version, on a PC only digital storefront, to (over 100+) regions that CANNOT create a PSN/Sony Account via PC? This change renders many players unable to play the game they paid for because they do not own a PS4/PS5 so they can create a PSN/Sony Account.

This is meant more as a heads up/warning for future buyers, rather then be a bad review, but had to mark as "No" because Review does not have a neutral option.

This game's Steam Deck classification of 'Verified' is incorrect (should be listed as 'Playable'), due to how the game handles cloud-saves. The game only allows for cloud-saves between the same OS, so clouds-saves only work when going Windows -> Windows, Mac -> Mac, or Linux -> Linux.

This means you CANNOT transfer save data using cloud-saves to transfer progress between PC and your Steam Deck (due to Steam Deck running a Linux OS).

Exploration is handled almost exactly like the Tomb Raider reboot with a combat system similar to Dark Souls/Seikero. Only aspect that bring this game down are lack of variety among the cosmetic rewards you get for exploring, which are pretty much the only rewards you receive outside of health/force upgrades

One of the few F2P games with microtransactions that is fair in its currency
