I was gifted this game back in 2023, before the "update announcement" in 2024, and there's no radical improvement.
This game is UNFINISHED and "abandoned", I'm hopeful the developer will update it, but after their newest announcement (releasing overpriced merch, no info about updates) it looks to me like they're milking the visuals and who knows where that money goes.
It's a shame because it has beautiful aesthetics and potential, if you're a fan of old tech games and Junji Ito, maybe look a gameplay - I'd advise you to stay away for the time being.
The community does make lovely workshops though.
