Early Access Review
Pretty good, it's sort of like a Roguelike Borderlands

The sequel the first game in the series. This one is also great but difficult, still has a lot of character and doubles down on that in this iteration by showing more of the world that was already pretty interesting before. If you like puzzle games and don't mind a challenge this is it.

A fantastic but challenging puzzle game. Has a lot of lore, a lot of character, and there's just a lot to like in general if you like puzzle games, the old 90s era computer games or anything challenging, it's pretty funny too. A new game comes out soon and every game Oddworld Inhabitants made as been good, I've beaten them all.

A good game, has a fair bit of character, a difficult roguelite that is also co-op. I enjoyed 90% of all the time I spent, but it has some issues where luck is really not on your side, such as starting a new level and the Shopkeeper gets hit by a monster or something and blames you for it, making it so you can never buy an item, and one will wait by every exit with twice your health and a shotgun for the rest of the run, making the secret ending impossible for a reason I can't say because spoilers. It was frustrating trying to get the secret ending when this happened quite frequently. Overall pretty good, perhaps Co-op will mitigate some of these issues but I haven't tried it that much.

Scary, fun, I don't know how I got through this game because I can't play horror games, but the plot is so intriguing and it was so thrilling I kept going. If you're here you've likely already heard how good this game is so I think it's worth getting if you like horror games.

A fantastic, hilarious puzzle game. There are a ton of puzzles as well as player made content, many different game modes for PvP (though unfortunately it can be hard to find random people online, but it's mainly a 1 player game anyway), It has local co-op, replayability just to hear all the jokes or perfect scores, or do the harder modes. If you like puzzle games you'll love this, and if you like funny games you should get this as well.

A fun anime themed board game. All of the characters are from Bullet Hell games made by the same developer which is an amazing idea/twist on the genre. I feel like it has more random elements than the usual board game only because they've put so much more content in this game it's hard to guess what card you're opponent will play, but I think with proper use of your characters special abilities you can put the odds in your favor. Every character has special abilities or different stats as well as a special ultimate card, and using your tools better can be the key to winning. The music is really good, and the developers constantly add new content/events, and listen to player feedback, you'll also find no shortage of games. This can be really fun with friends as well.

A fun game, but very challenging, the levels and boss fights stay the same meaning it's all about skill, it's very fair in allowing you to beat the game if you're good. The cartoony artstyle and bosses are very fun to play in, it's animated in the same way 1920s cartoons were and looks great. It's co-op which is very fun, but after 20 hours I had beaten it, but because I had so much fun playing it, I want to go back and do the hard mode levels at some time, overall good game.

A fun, criminally overlooked game. Very well made somehow, a lot of good characters and references to the source material each character is from (Which you don't need to know to enjoy). I have a friend who lives almost fully across the country and our matches don't feel so bad, but I have heard that some people have issues with the delay. You'll need to join the discord to get matches, I've only found people a handful of times, but the discord seems to be fairly active. Ultimately I get the feeling you would really have to like the source material to stay playing despite how well made it is, only because the player base is fairly low.

A great game that has fun characters with good passive abilities. It's local co-op (and even online co-op if a friend is close enough to you to do remote play, but it will still have delay). Unlike some other rogue likes that are filled to the brim with random elements that reward play time over skill, this game is reversed, a skill based game that has some rng but the item and ability pool are much smaller yet much more impactful meaning you can often choose a playstyle and get fun guns/tools all the time. There are funny secrets, but because the game rewards skill, it can be kind of short, a thing most game developers are afraid about. But the thing is, because it's a well made, skill based game, I want to come back to it and I'll enjoy it each time. It's unlike other games that prioritize time spent instead, acting like a roguelike themed slot machine. The only issue about this game is that the end game content doesn't really interest me, when you beat the game, you'll unlock the ability to "loop" sending you into a different timeline where everything is more difficult just to beat it again. If it was better made I would enjoy it but the issue is more enemies spawn and they are stronger, if you keep looping there will eventually be so many enemies you're computer can't run it, and you can't move, they'll fill up the whole screen. If it was handled in a more structured way I would enjoy, but even then because I liked everything else in the game, I'd still like to go back try.
