Super chill, quite funny, days coming to an end is excellent. It means my day can come to and end and I get some sleep!

In short, as a long time Civ player and one of the very few people that enjoyed (and got all the achievements for) Civ:BE. This is the first time I've not wanted to "just take one more turn". I've never bounced off a game so hard and in almost 15 years on steam this will be my first refund.

I know I only spent 2 hours with it but when you know, you know. My problems with it are mainly the bad UI which will always be make or break in a tbsg, and, the fundamental changes to the victory conditions that set you on certain paths - e.g. "get this tech", "build that wonder" - no freedom to play the way want? No thanks. It's as simple as that

It's good! Games fixed had a few crashes (4? in 65Hrs) even well after it had a lot of patches but otherwise the performance is good now and I noticed no memorable bugs.

Otherwise it's an enjoyable SW game with a decent story and excellent exportation and combat (even if the lightsaber is more of as baseball bat than a lightsaber).

TLDR: It's got as lot of parts, but none of them are good enough to warrant playing this over anything that actually tries to any of them well. Aimed for everything and hit nothing.

It's not bad but it's just in engaging or it is in away that after you've finished a session it feels like a waste of time. There is so much you can do so much of it is just boring or the same. The shooting is fine but I feel a lot of the level up perks aren't useful. The maps are big but empty. The odd quest is interesting but I'm 42 hours in and the game won't launch after an update and honestly, a reinstall will probably fix it (it's surprisingly not that buggy) but I don't think I'll be reinstalling until that's some significant updates. I'd love to like it more but it just isn't as compelling as Fallout, Skyrim or Baulders Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077 or Mass Effect... Or even Dragon Age 3 and No Man's Sky does exploration, base building and planets infinity better. There's just better games out there.

Excellent. Solo or in Co-op. It's an excellent, complete and enjoyable game. Game of the year, no competition.

Pros: It's Halo. It plays really well. It's free.
Cons: As someone that's never cared for skins, even I can see the BP grand and those prices are painful.

In short games good if like RPGs and/or TBSGs? It's as good as it gets, choices have visible and meaningful consequences and the combats solid, even the enemy AI (On Hard at least)! Or you might just lied it because you've missed good Fallout Games.

Is it what was advertised? Mostly, its not the "deep RPG" that was promised and the choices you make (especially your background) don't make all too much difference in the progression on the main story in the same ways it might in proper RPGs like Dragon Age: Origins. And yes, it is quite buggy.

HOWEVER, It's not Fallout 4, there are bugs but they're relatively minor, I've only had 1 crash in about 70 hours of playtime. Same with the story which is compelling for the most part with some standout characters but is maybe let down by either the lack of consequences or pretty repetitive game play loops. Braindances are boring.

The game has run fine with an old GTX970 and old 4 core i5 at 1080p and most settings at medium comfortably without any stuttering.

Overall I think there's a really good game in there if you can get over the state it's in at the moment and the let down from the marketing.

Game of the year 2020, a lot of big games have come out this year and very few of them are nearly as good as this as this gem. The game play is well paced, perseverance is rewarded, progression and unlocks are actually worthwhile and the story was well above what I expected from a rouge-lite. If none of that interests you soundtrack is something to behold all by itself.
