Beware I'm rambling.

TL:DR
boring moba platformer grindfest

5 years and few expansions later
Foreword
You get ONE (1) mode and 5 maps. And you can't choose whether or not you want to play ranked game or casual, instead you get thrown in one pile of wonky working mmr crap.

The farming
I got 20 nauts for free because I owned this game but I can't even imagine the grind you'll need to do if you want to unlock half of 'em all. The new nauts from expansions cost 6k-7,5k while you get from 70 to maybe 150 points a match (which can take from 10 minutes to maybe even 30). Of course there's first win of the day for 500 gold.
And you can buy other things too. Like dropships that do.. nothing? They have no real effect on the gameplay except looking cool, alas you'll see them for 5% of the game. Additionally some of them cost twice more than the most expensive nauts. At least the icons are cheap tho.
You get around 6k gold in the beggining, around 7k on levelups up to lvl 10, and then from 11 to 14 .. nothing? And then you barely get anything up to level 50. No idea how much basic nauts cost because at the time of writing I couldn't find any information on it.
And it aint all. When you buy a naut you need to level it up in order to get more options of building the naut in game. It will take you about 2-3 matches to unlock 6 of 9 of the items, then about next 3 matches to get rest of the items unblocked. I understand the need of it, the unblock more advanced stuff later because you have to learn the naut, but why is the killing spree music blocked at level 6 (basically 2,5+ hours of playing the same hero)? It makes the gameplay ten times better (if you get a killing spree). If feels great when you get the 3rd kill and your hero's music plays.

The a e s t h e t i c s of the game
The game sticks to itself, it's really stylish.
Overall the way nauts are made is nice, the design feels good and their songs are really comfy, neat and fit really nice to them, hell, the music overall is really good. Maps are ok tho, most of them have special mechanic that mainly affects only the middle of the whole map.

The gameplay
Basically a platformer moba. Respawn, buy stuff, kill minions, level up, destroy towers, meanwhile kill opponents, die and repeat untill you destroy opponents base.
The nauts are really simple, you pretty much get basic attack and two skills. Having said that, they're pretty much lacking. You dont get that 'oomph' like if you had some kind of ultimate ability and the items you buy are pretty much +15% damage/hp/whatever or a little perk that doesn't really change the way you play it. Fighting against other people basically boils down to poke them and do a combo (which you won't have much since you have with 2 skills) or try to survive them with tanks. Teamplay is pretty much important, you pretty much wont stand a chance at 2v1 at 90% of the time, which will happen often because all of the maps are really small.

The end
The game gets dull pretty fast. You'll end up doing the same stuff over and over again. I guess it would be okay becaues it's a moba right? But it gets even boring, at least for now, because the champion pool is not too big and f2p players will have very few of them so in the end you'll every match will end up with at least one naut in the opponent team that you played against just a while ago. And it will get tedious because the nauts are pretty much one trick ponies.

Before I forget: connection in game is peer to peer, so you'll pretty much feel it every single game..

Maiet pls
Very bad compared to gunz 1
Big lack of content
Quest system is nothing compared to gunz 1 (In gunz 2 you have plain campaign with 2 bosses and no item drops)
No k-style, even though they said they're going to implement it
Class system that's ♥♥♥♥ and causes some classes to be op
Bad host system, though it's a bit better than in beggining

Only thing that maiet did right was not creating p2w store.
