Dead Estate is a labor of love that I still cannot believe went on this long with free DLC.

From the pixel art style to the chiptune music, this game has all the great feelings of looking like a game while also having the addicting gameplay nature that's also present in all great games. There are many characters, costumes, weapons, and items to unlock as you play to keep you busy.

All the characters are very likable in terms of personality with each character making your journey through the mansion unique with their various weapons and playstyle. The weapons and items you collect as you make your way up (or even down) various floors also adds to the freshness of different playthroughs.

Dead Estate has it all. While roguelike twin stick shooters aren't my overall favorite genre, Dead Estate encompasses the type of game that I want to see!

Not worth $8 imo. Buy in the bundle with Dual Soul Starter Pack for best value.

Super fun to play with friends. Just remember to remind your friends to not be too salty. A party's a party and parties are meant to be fun.

I got this with the Deluxe edition pre-order. For a DMC veteran, free red orbs with my purchase is welcomed so I can get to the good stuff with my combos that require moves to be purchased with said red orbs. Otherwise, this isn't recommended to buy as the game can easily give you this many when you play long enough.

8/10

Amazing platformer with pretty much a fan of the genre would ever want. A good story, amazing soundtrack, tight controls, even mechanics to learn where they're throughtfully placed as the game progresses. I just wish there were more to it than levels to master.

Too bland and not enough interesting features to be worth its price. Constant glitches with clipping and parts can fall into places where you can't grab them anymore.

I hadn't found a use for this until I got a game that was used for older OS's. With Borderless Gaming, I could set the locked window that cut off options in it's startup to fullscreen. From there, I could now see all the options. It doesn't work for every game, but when it works just right, it's a pretty good tool.
