It used to be a good game. And to give an actual review:

Yes, we knew from the beginning that siege would have a lot of operators, however, not fleshing out characters upon release or revisiting existing operators every release has a detrimental negative effect on the flow of the game.
THIS IS NOT CS:GO, THIS IS NOT OVERWATCH.... This was supposed to be a tactical game, one could enjoy a light hearted take on the super secret operative scene in the world. On that, the lore is so fundamentally broken, they had to kill of characters everytime they were introduced and caused a contradiction in the lore? Should they fix the lore? Nah just kill of a new character we've barely given any screentime to.

Now onto the actual gameplay side of trying to match with immature teenagers.

Yes I was an immature teenager once, however, by making it your sole fan base you are selectively breeding a new strain of racist tones and thoughts. I genuinely believe that while I used to play siege between 2018-2021, I was enabled and encouraged to make these comments... because that was the form of communication that got a 'nibble' from ubisoft everytime. It was our way of screaming at you and calling you a c#nt. Because everytime you punished the collective for a problem in the minority, we lashed out.... huh, that sounds familiar, I wonder where else I can see that if I punish the many for the problems of the few that I might get a negative reaction?

Leading onto that, Ubisoft, an international games development studio.... crumbled to a bunch of teenagers making racist and sexist remarks. The teens threw out bait and Ubisoft gobbled it up and took it. Since then, you've seen the self-decay of the ubisoft publisher in all their games, combined with liberal democratic values, they fail to provide gamers with what they want in the first place, a good game that makes sense and that they can enjoy playing... not a game plague with cheaters, abusers, and some of the worst people on Earth (teenagers with no sense of consequence that have access to a microphone).

Now where did it all begin? Honestly? It started when game developers began focusing on micro-transactions, a move to more politically led development studios (hiring people with no experience in relevant areas). Although not directly spoken, you could see it. It was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ obvious. Post 2018, you saw a trend into battle passes and skins for characters, which okay were great in some areas however, did not subsidise the broken characters you released alongside it. Fundamentally when characters got released, they were broken, and I know why, because that would encourage players to buy the characters before you had to 'fix' them. Disgusting tactic. Whoever thought that was a great idea, you are a waste of sunlight. You prey on the young to steal more money from people who don't know any better.

I'm glad this game sucks and you have problems with cheaters... Ubisoft, you should declare bankruptcy and seize operation of everything, you are a disgrace of your former self.
