Do you want to drive cars with a nice arcade feel, cool graphics and creative maps? Then play this - it's always nice to see a game set out to do one thing properly instead of losing focus and doing a thousand things okay. And this is a proper arcade racer, it would eat up so many of my quarters in the 90s. Solid recommend.

A great, short and funny game for people looking for a little more silly edition of Obra Dinn. The thing I was not expecting to surprise me was the voice acting, it was really really good! I guess this was a short one-shot, but damn do I want more of the Duck Detective!

The people crave for Colombo in all his forms, and The Duck Detective delivers in spades.

All previous issues that threre were with the game on Steam Deck have been fixed and the game, well it's a good Monster Hunter. Maybe a bit on the easy end, but still a lot of fun.

Just like West of Loathing before it, Shadows Over Loathing is filled to the brim with content content and some more content. There is a lot more than I've seen during my 18 hours of playtime, and the choices to see that content begin with the prologue. So if you want something different for your playthroughs, there's a lot to choose form, not even mentioning the random chance of stumbling upon some of it.

Even if you're not a completionist, the story and the sidequests are compelling enough to keep you playing, and if you don't like the combat you can turn it off. There is nothing wrong with combat, and it does that RPG thing where you can stack up numbers so high you can kill most enemies before they make a move or find some other way of cheesing the combat (sometimes literally [it makes sense in context]).

The atmosphere of the game is amazing - it's the fine blend of supernatural vs the mundane, like having a college course named "Spiders" played completely straight, or having the mob fight vampires in the city because it's just another gang to them. And fittingly for the 1920s there's this atmosphere of new and exciting creations just being dropped into the world, letting you encounter something new every chapter.

The one thing I'd say I disliked was the music at some parts, especially in the latter chapters - not that it's bad, it just becomes too intense when compared you going though corn mazes and just wandering around farms, with this feel of urgency, which is not fitting the overworld exploration. It's like having boss fight music 100% of the time, so it stands out too much and becomes tiring.

Overall a solid recommend if you like adventure games. Bring out pen and paper (or Steam notes) as you'll need to think and remember things more than once!

Good sequel to Stories, at first I wasn't sure if the mute protagonist will work, but overall the story is better and more involving than the prequel one.
The only real issue I see is that not much was explained about combat, although this might be because I chose the more challenging combat. A good game overal.

Everything in this game comes together to deliver you a fantastic experience. It can get frustrating sometimes when you miss a victory by a few points, but more often than not it is because of a small error you did along the way. Absolutely recommend.

The prettiest, the most stylish and one of the better platformers that came out in the last 3 years. Go get it if you like puzzle platformers and can stand a bit morbid style for a bit.
