A wonderful way to spend time, it's very satisfying to slowly make number go up while you investigate and explore the map. Played with a friend and the multiplayer experience was pretty solid.

Would I say I got 79 cents of fun out of this game? Sure. Would I recommend it?
Not really. Needing to hit 100% can be tedious, and the last level (there aren't many) is an exercise in frustration.
But if you've got a dollar to spare, go for it

Dwarfs, guns, aliens, mining, all in a satisfying gameplay loop.

August 6th 2023:
The Community Edition works, with plenty of mods, though the game still provides very little in terms of goals beyond unlocking the tech tree, and getting some security from the not too threatening barbarians. Fun for sandboxing however, so I wish there was a Yes, but... option to review.

March 23rd 2020:
There was a final release that fixed most of the major bugs, but it's still clunky, glitchy, and not worth it unless you're really into the concept. Combat is a total mess, and finding your own fun is all the game has going for it.

The modding scene is worth checking out, but this is not a finished product, and the company probably doesn't deserve your money. I have mostly enjoyed my 100 hours, despite the game, but I probably have brain damage, so take that for what it's worth.

Abandoned at this point with plenty of bugs still around

If you want arcadey "cinematic" shooting in planes, this might be for you. If you don't, don't bother.

The flight model is slightly dodgy but serviceable, the shooting is boring and bullet spongy, the aiming is handled by an auto-aiming crosshair, the dialogue is hilarious in its silliness, and having any actual tactics is pointless.

The building's fun, the strategy map is fun, the Multiplayer (while only 2 player) is fun and works. For the price, worth it.
