Played through, thought I was winning, was overtaken by a friend, then both of us lost to an AI who was bottom of the leaderboard. I have never seen a game in Civ V that had as many twists or was unpredictable up until the last turn. Espionage is far improved, with more to do than "Steal a Tech", and the Tech Web is imo better than the tree as it makes the game less predictable.

A very tactical strategy game, well worth playing if you like that kind of game
