Buy it when it's on a 90% discount, and only then it might be worth buying. Maybe.

Great game!

Wish I could help a developer by praising the game, saying the it's a rough, uncut gem. Unfortunately the game doesn't offer enough to elicit something positive for me to say.
- Graphic wise, it showcases original Doom's level of low rez textures, while somehow running sluggishly on a mid to high end rig
- Gameplay is repetitive and the story is not particularly original. There is no real sense of danger, so you just keep walking on, mildly enjoying the game attempts at jumpscares. It's also very short, might be a smart move to make it just long enough so you don't finish it before the refund window closes.
Bottom line, it needs a lot more work put into it to make it worthy of attention. Keep it up!

A masterpiece.

Few games left a lasting memory in me.
I haven't finished this one yet, but after spending 75hours just falling in love with the setting, the story, the art and the people that populate this city, I can assure you the moments spent in it will not be lost in time, like tears in the rain.

There are bugs, sure. What game didn't have bugs at launch? The AI needs...lots of work. But the whole of the game wraps you in a tight blanket and never lets you go. I haven't been this addicted to a game in decades. Can't literally stop thinking of it. Can't stop dreaming about it!

And in time, things will only get better. I literally can't wait for new Panam to be available. I got my wallet ready and Panam to buy new DLCs for this game, just as long as new side missions with Panam are Panam. And Panam Panam, Panam Panam Panam Panam. Panam Panam, Panam: Panam Panam, Panam! Panam.

Apologies. It seems a Panam daemon infected my review. But seriously. This game is worth it.

I could write something cheesy like: "In this game I actually managed to kill my enemies, see them driven before me, and heard the lamentation of the women". But no...this game is actually more true to the books than the movie, and I love and praise Funcom for it.
I would have bought it for the setting alone, but the game is actually fun, engaging and one of the best survival games around. Sure, some kinks still need attention, but it is truly a game of epic proportion, that you can enjoy whatever your playstyle is

This game, as many others have stated, has great potential. It really does a good job of putting you in an alien environment but...it is way early for it to be a good game. Give it time, and I'm sure it will unlock its full potential. Up till then, buy it only to support the devs.

This game may not live up to some people expectations, but it is truly an enjoyable experience, with still lots of untapped potential. Was it rushed and launched incomplete? Likely. Will I get my money's worth from it. Absolutely.

My only gripe so far is the autopilot. It is a game about freedom afterall, so let me fly this ship however I want!
