Game is fun ... when it decides to work. I'm running a 5060 ti, which needs framegen to get it to a playable 60 fps for me. (I can't play at 30) Framegen has been causing tons of crashes and until they fix the framegen crashes, my review will stay negative.

Very fun game! Worth playing if you love dinos and animal crossing! Only a couple minor bugs (got stuck on a log, restarting game fixed it). A couple word typos but nothing major.

The controls are super confusing to me.

I would not recommend the PVP mode in this game to anyone. It's super aggravating. The only mode I find enjoyable is the coop defense mission, and that's it.

Even on a 3070, Ryzen 7 5800x, and 64gb ram, the update with fsr and whatnot is having HORRENDOUS performance. Tried DLSS. Tried FSR. Tried Balanced, Peformance, Frame Gen off and on. Dropped settings from high to medium on all (cept Motion blur off, reflections on low). --- Getting 10 FPS. Before this update, it was playable for me. I love the idea of this game. Feels like a modern MS Freelancer of sorts. But the performance is not good.

Took 7-8 minutes to load main menu alone, and got stuck at 100% loading multiplayer for over 4-5 minutes. This is on a system with an NVMe, which loads like 5x faster than an SSD, and more than that for an older HDD. A system with a 3070 Ti, 64GB of RAM, and a Ryzen 7 5800x.

Game itself runs with high FPS, but the loading is super poorly optimized. Do not recommend unless they fix that.

Some bugs need to be worked out, and performance issues are being resolved a few times daily. I'm very certain that if we are patient, they will work out these issues. The developers can only do so much themselves. They can't fix EVERY SINGLE bug or performance issue on their own. It's not feasible. There are thousands of possible PC configurations. They would need a ton of different configurations just to test the vast majority of issues.

I love the much-improved building system. The map system with pings and rally points and whatnot is super helpful as well. There are so many Quality of Life fixes in ASA. We just need to be patient while they add in the rest of the things, other maps, and more.

If we are patient and don't give up on Studio Wildcard, they will fix the issues and bugs that this game had. Like mentioned before, it is not really possible to fix every single issue by themselves internally. They need more people, with thousands of different PC configurations, to help submit bug reports and feedback so we can make this the game ARK Survival Evolved should have been.

This game is a very fun game to chillax and relax with! If you want a cute little, relaxing dino game, I HIGHLY recommend Paleo Pines. ALL the dinos are friendly! Even the carnivores! Can wander around and be at peace.

As an "official Paleo Pines creator," I will stream this every month! Sometimes with "challenge modes" with some kind of limitation or another.

They have no way for me to recover my account. I've been trying for a couple years. The email the account is on no longer exists, so I can't send a request to recover the account. I find it dumb how they don't send an email to both new and old. As such as being unable to EVER recover my account, I cannot in good conscience recommend this game, ever.

Edit for dev response: I have tried. A couple tickets. The last couple people were NO help whatsoever. After a couple failed attempts, I won't be trying a third time.

Tried this for about an hr and a half, but there are some aspects that just ... don't agree with me personally. The "peeing on fast travel points" really makes me go nope to this. It just feels really weird and gross because of how I was raised.
