One of my favourite games. I recommend playing it on Extreme.

The game is full of tedious grinding—for example, the mining required for hours on end to gather various types of ores in each biome. Each biome demands more and more ores for the same weapons as in the previous one. This is what makes the Plains fun—there is no tedious mining. I'm not against mining in games, but in Valheim, it's overly grindy for no reason.

The world is also way too big. I love the sailing mechanic in this game, but having to spend hours sailing, even with the best ship, just to reach the next boss is boring. Not to mention that finding the boss in the first place can be a hassle, as Vegvisirs don’t spawn in every biome you explore. This forces you to spend hours running around just for a chance to find one.

One of the best parts of the game is its building mechanic. The building pieces you unlock throughout the game allow for some truly beautiful builds. The movement is amazing and feels smooth—same goes for the combat. I absolutely love the parry ability and how you can parry pretty much anything.

Some biomes shine more than others, but the Swamp stands out as a particularly frustrating one to get through.

Crashes frequently. With the lack of copy paste and not being about to remove multiple objects and being unable to build floors over an area without having the walls block you, is tedious. Building bedrooms with floors and a few objects beside a bed, is really annoying and tedious, because of the flaws I mentioned before. Don't get me wrong, I like the game, but I can't recommend it become of the limitations and tedious features

Am enjoying the game

My experience haven't been so good with the game so far, I've been trying to play it for a while, for over a year, but I can only play it for a few hours or not even, before I start to get motion sick, I believe it is because of the extreme graphical effects, like stuff like bloom, witch can not been turn off or any of effect in the matter, someone would probably point out that you can just fix it with mods, but you shouldn't have to download mods just to be able to play the base game. I'm not the only one that have had problems with getting motion sick from playing it, one of my friends also got dizzy from playing it, and he played on desktop. Other note on the mod thing, I tired to download one that would make it possible to turn off those effects, but the mod didn't work and I also couldn't join anyone nor could anyone join me, because it said that I was using a different version, (version+modloader), so even if it the mod worked, I wouldn't be able to play with others that don't have it, so what's the point. Beside all of that, the community also felt unfriendly, at least for me, I would ask for help for in support for something as importing an avatar and get weak answers and instally get pushed to the side, without actually getting any help or support with my problem. I can't recommend the game out from the experiences I've had.
