One of the most relaxing, chill games I've ever played. The farming is excellent, the mining is solid, the townspeople are vibrant and realistic, and the soundtrack is amazingly soothing. Stardew Valley is legitimately a 10 out of 10.

This is one of the best games of all time. I faltered with being able to keep up with the combat due to physical limitations but I thoroughly enjoyed what I was able to play and all of the streams I watched were fantastic entertainment. The story is deep, logical, and worth exploring all over the world to unearth.

Back 4 Blood is one of those games where you can have either a fun time or a very soul-crushing time in it. The difficulty ramps up and doesn't relent even on the lowest difficulty and you need a good team that will work together otherwise you really have no hope to finish the levels. Random players are generally not great and will run off and do stupid things, causing the rest of the level to be even more difficult. This isn't the game's fault but it is a problem as it's team-based. Allow randoms with knowledge that they are unlikely to be overly reliable.

The gun upgrade system feels fun and it does push you to make some tough choices: do you swap your upgraded gun for a gun of higher quality with no upgrades? Do you swap gun types entirely? And with the deck system, you can specialize in a gun type and go ham with it. Or you can specialize in throwables or support and when the deck works, it works so well and feels incredibly rewarding.

Having said that, the fact that Act 1 lasts for about half the game is a really weird choice. The fact that it's still difficult to tell mutated enemies apart by sound is a pain in my side: you can easily hear the Sleepers as they're loud enough and distinct enough but everything else? Maybe I'm getting deaf, but I cannot tell enemies apart simply by sound. The fact that the game spawns so many mutateds at a time with a horde (outside of a forced horde event) means you will struggle unless you put a speed run deck together and bypass the levels as quickly as you can, so those mutateds don't have a chance to actually spawn, or if you run a speed run deck to just skip through the game as quickly as you can. This strategy is not really playing the game as it was designed but taking your time to explore the maps means more and more things spawn in and it makes playing slower deadly on higher difficulties. The game is designed to get you moving as quickly as you can. Slowing down can be the difference between dying or clearing a level. But if you don't explore, you don't get copper to buy upgrades, weapons, or throwable items.

The developers are working on balancing the game and they've made positive changes so far BUT they also threw some heavy nerfs to melee specifically, which is odd when there are still a host of bugs they need to tackle before, in my opinion, they should balance the weapons thoroughly.

I still recommend the game as it's very fun with friends and the progression system with deck-building and cosmetic unlocks is tied directly to how well you play. In short, Back 4 Blood is fun with friends but it has issues the developers need to iron out but they're working on it. (Basically the state of any game that released not long ago.)

I didn't expect to have as much fun with ATS as I did. I keep coming back to it for the relaxing gameplay and ease of use with a controller. If you're looking for something easy to pick up, something calming, something with very pretty skies, do yourself a favor and play American Truck Simulator.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I guess, who get to play it after changing settings and using a controller. When it works, it works really well and is a fun game. The story, setting, writing, voice acting, graphics, everything is so solid about Read Dead Redemption 2 EXCEPT for the performance. I've had five crashes in 11 hours and they appear to be totally random so I can't even troubleshoot properly. Unacceptable for a AAA title with the budget that RDR2 had. Unacceptable for having been released over a month ago. Unacceptable when GTA5 left me with the same amount of crashes in several hundred hours of gameplay.

Get it on sale or just get it on a console for the foreseeable future unless they manage to get the kinks worked out. The game is good but it suffers from a lack of polish for the PC version. Don't go into this expecting a flawless performance.

UPDATE: After a lot of patches, this game runs so smoothly that I cannot understand how they messed the launch so badly BUT this truly is a once-in-a-generation game because it's so gritty and real. The ending is so, so incredibly strong and you feel the emotional weight of the entire journey. I cannot recommend Red Dead Redemption 2 enough.

I have put more hours into Dead by Daylight than any other game I've played. Between playing as survivor and the adrenaline rush of being found and chased, outplaying the killer, or going in for a risky move to help my team, and playing as the killer and outsmarting the others during a chase, this game is so fun. Being able to play as Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Amanda Young, and all the other licensed and original killers is so cool because they all have their own abilities and way to play.

There are bugs and glitches but overall, a very solid game, a ton of fun.

This game manages to take the fun of the Left 4 Dead series and elevate it. With the map design being better than the first game, the graphics being fantastic, and the gameplay being top-notch, I cannot recommend Vermintide 2 enough.

Get in, hit the gas, and relax. Go all over Europe hauling cargo while maintaining your deadlines. Buy new semis and garages, hire extra drivers, make all the money you can or just go for a cruise in free roam. This game is surprisingly relaxing and you can listen to all kinds of Euro radio stations while you're on the road so you get that authentic feeling.

This game is simply incredible. The voice acting, the music, the writing, the gameplay, the graphics, the story, every aspect of this game is fantastic. If you're looking for something that will draw you in immediately and leave you wanting more when you stop playing, do yourself a favor and buy D:OS 2.

Too many possibilities to cover properly but Crusader Kings 2 is essentially Game of Thrones from Europe to China. There's also a large mod community to whet your appetite for whatever you want this game to be.
