OSRS is a fantastic game but most people would highly suggest using the RuneLite client instead of playing on Steam. It provides the game with many needed QoL features and making the game look 5x better with long distance rendering, skyboxes and animation smoothing to name a few. The OSRS dev team is great and has great community outreach but the vanilla client had been left to gather dust with focus on other goals and the mobile version. However, now that it is on Steam maybe this client will be heading in a better in direction.

Whatever you choose to use, it truly is a game where there will always at least be some completionist things to complete even if you have already sunk 10k hours into it. My current account has around 5k hours played and 2.2k total and I feel like I haven't even started playing the game.

GOOD GAME!

A really well made game, unfortunately it's one of those badly made ports. Runs 30 fps standard but thankfully there is a mod to fix that without a lot of bugs, as far as I know theres only a single bug on one of the many cases due to the mod but that shouldn't be a big problem. Really interesting game and idea and I wish that there were more like this out there.
