I completed my first playthrough of this game in about 7 hours, this was on the "easiest" way to play the game. The storyline was truly an enjoyable experience and the gameplay did not fall short. The gameplay is in fact quite creative, and you can really see the time and effort that was put into the game from start to finish. If you have done little or no reasearch on the game you may not be familiar with the fact that this game has an absolutely INCREDIBLE soundtrack. The music in Transistor is a big part of the storyline and is smoothly encorporated throughout the entirety of the game. Transistor isn't just about storyline however, combining puzzle elements, a sandbox mode, and a combat system that flawlessly encorporates turn-based strategy and real-time strategy using one of the most configurable combat systems I've seen in quite some time, makes Transistor DEFINITELY worth every penny.
