The third game in the Nancy Drew series (with second not being available for purchase on Steam). The story is not that great, but it makes up for it with lore of the mansion and design of it's locations. The whole game takes place inside a single mansion and location was used pretty well, alas, the game underuses it's characters and they are not that important.
The puzzles were neat, except for two - the infamous floor puzzle, where you have to be pixel perfect or it won't count and the final one. While I like the idea of hunting for clues to a single puzzle on the course of the whole game - it didn't give a big enough hint early on to start marking down symbols and meanings (as with most ND games - pen&paper are advisable to have around), which in turn led to a lot of late game running around, while trying to remember where you saw this or that symbol.
Overall I could still recommend this game for it's setting and interesting read about the mansion's history. Took me around three hours to beat, but obviously mileage may wary depending on your uptake with puzzles and I have completed this game many years before (in Russian), so it was easier for me with some of the puzzles.

Secrets can kill is not the worst Nancy Drew game, but did it really warrant a remake?
The story is not interesting and neither are most of the puzzles. In this remake they changed 2D sprites for the characters to 3D models and it really wasn't necessary, because now the only unique aspect of the first game (it's visual representation of the characters) is gone.
Instead of this - I would rather liked if they've updated the second game and made it purchasable on Steam, as it has a more interesting (but still simple) story and better puzzles, aside from the "triggers" to certain events, which can be obtuse.
Overall - I wouldn't recommend this game unless you are a die hard fan of Nancy Drew.

This was my first Gears of War game and it was fantastic! I enjoyed the gameplay, graphics, story, design of locations and encounters. For co-op it's especially a great experience (just don't pick the last difficulty. Don't.).
Mixed reviews come mostly from the game's multiplayer, which I don't get. The MP itself is fine, not my cup of tea, but nothing bad. Maybe it was better in the previous games? I don't care. The gripe for it comes from microtransactions and yes, they are usually bad, but here - I don't care. What can you buy? Some skins. They are extremely overpriced, but who needs them - buys them. I don't. Rather, I'm glad that the game has paid off and hope for Gears 6 and continuation of it's story.

tl;dr - buy it for the single player. It's great.

First try - 4k, max settings, res scale at 100 - 17 FPS. Okay, I expected it wouldn't be able to run at 4k. Next try.
Second try - 1440, max settings, res scale at 100 - 29 FPS. Seriously? The first game I wasn't able to run with max settings at 1440.
Third try - 1080, max settings, res scale at 100 - 50 FPS. Deletes the game in frustration.

I can't run it, but holy maiden those reflections are phenomenal.

A rather short, but very cute OVA episode. It's ~19 minutes of story told from a single perspective of Lawrence sitting on a bench and Horo prancing around. The prancing is cute, incredibly cute. Dialogue is also cute. Everything is cute.
I've got beaten by a tail.

Now for the bad:
19 minutes? Seriously? Well, I enjoyed it, but still...
As I played via mouse and keyboard - interaction minigame is unplayable. I just can look at things, but most of interactions are, well, interactions. I can't get Horo to react in all ways just by looking. Gave up at it after five minutes, when I exhausted my possibilities.
The graphics could've been better. Shadows are low res, the settings menu offers only tessellation and render scale. Also the models heads look a tad too large, but I got used to it after a couple of minutes.
And for the M&KB controls - couldn't the devs implement a mouse look? Actually it is in the game, but you have to hold LMB to moue your head for some reason. And the cursor is on screen all the time. I didn't see any sense in it.

A very random trivia game with charming style and sense of humor. Took me two hours to complete once. You can't see all the content from one playthrough though - it would take several more playthroughs to see all of the outcomes. During my second playthrough not a single question was repeated. Laughed for the majority of the time.
I would say the main point of the game is not the trivia, but the amusing stories in between and their outcomes. They are incredibly funny and even if you fail the trivia and get a negative outcome - chances are the story would continue. Maybe even with some other character, whose fate is related to the previous person. Same goes for winning as well.

The best Danganronpa game in every aspect. Fantastic both old and new music. Tons of great CG and voice acting. Every minigame is actually interesting this time. And the way they upped the style factor makes it hard to look at the older games. Every single sentence during non-stop debates now has individuality. Gosh it was a blast to play.
Now gimme V2 with Amami.
As for the ending...
I didn't laugh and despair so much during any of the previous games endings. It was a pure joy. So much despair and the crushed hope! Gosh the Saihara was in his shocked sprite most of the closure. It was marvellous, treacherously so.
In the previous games the characters despaired because they forgot the world around them. But in this one not only did they forget the world - they forgot themselves! They have died even before their killing semestre has started!
I never really liked the whole "world" of Danganronpa. I enjoyed games as a closed room mystery, but every time they went on about the outside in detail I couldn't stand it. This game has finally flipped the truck over, did a barrel roll with it and landed on the new road in a much more interesting direction. Suddenly the flashy cast makes sense and while outside world is still not that great - it's much better than a battle between FF and RoD.
And you know the best part about all of this? We can have infinite (well, 50) more games! They can think up any setting and put any kind of characters in any enviroment and we can watch over and over again how they try to uncover the futile truth and betray each others trust.
But, sadly, the closure of this game sounded like a closure of the series. I would've preffered at least one more game. Not further in the timeline, but the one right behind this one, with Amami Rantaro. He was quite an interesting character and yet we didn't have a chance to experience his whole potential.

Oh, so shut yer traps, whiners. The ending doesn't devaluate the previous games even if you don't like it, because what matters is the emotions and despair. And the despair of the characters in the previous games was real, even if the world around them wasn't.

This was a blast in every aspect. It's about ~1,5-2 times longer than the previous games, while having a higher density of content that is itself of a better quality. My only gripe about the game are the Monocubs. They can get pretty annoying. Other than that - it was a memorable worthwhile experience.

Two hours of unique content for a demo version? Great!
Music was superb as always and they also upped on the style factor, which lured me into the franchise in the first place.
Also a trial with three protagonists working together!
Btw, they promised some bonus in the main game for importing the demo's save data.
Just lemme pre-purchase already!
