I dare say this could be paradox best game with some more updates and content added.

I will keep this brief.

The good

-Nice road design flexibility
-Make custom maps(height map import feature)
-Nice sized maps and tiles
-Some nice looking buildings
-Zoning(RCI-Residential,Commercial,Industrial and also Offices)
-Mod support

The Bad

-Poor economy system(Very basic and dumbed down)
-No day/night cycle(At release)
-Poor trade system(Just like the economy system)
-No real difficulty(Even with the hard mode mod enabled) Linked to the basic Economy/Trade
-No real happiness system(There is one but its very boring and way too easy)

The Ugly

-The scale of the buildings/block sizes(A house has a block size thats the same as a office)
The scale you might not think is a big issue, But if you want a really nice realistic looking city im sorry to say you have to work hard to get one. And not in terms of management but in terms of restricting yourself to making 3x3 houses and stuff like that. This plus the very bare bones economy and Trade killed the game for me. Still the best city builder out there besides simcity 4.

Make sure you buy the CK2 Complete Pack on sale(GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY)

This is a must have for any grand strategy fan. (BEWARE STEEP LEARNING CURVE)<by this i mean a good 6 hours or so to get the basics. Even after this you are always learning something. would recommend Arumba's CK2 Tutorial Series on youtube. Also great to watch to get an idea of the features in the game and the level of depth involved.

If you are still reading now for my review

I enjoyed 90% of this game, although there are thing's that paradox could have done better such as the warfare,Building management, religion and the whole pope minigame, But this is still a great title and i was very happy with my purchase. I spent hours on hours managing my dynasty,Court and my council. While this was happening i was also plotting against my enemies and even my own subjects in my kingdom/empire who were a troublesome sight to my reign. Also had to help my allies and keep an eye on my dynasty members(sisters/daughters) in particular, who i married off to people in larger empires outside my lands who i had high plans for. Overall this game is outstanding if you enjoy a nice in depth/complex empire and dynsaty management system.
