Fun time. Good game. Didn't care much for the endings though but still great overall.

I liked it. Got it on sale for $5 though. Beat it with all achievements in under 5 hours. Don't think it's $20 worth though.

Great games! Very cool puzzles and story.

Skip the third game though, unless you really must know the conclusion to everything.

Great game. One of the best SMT games.

EDIT: Finished everything there is. Amazing game! Just play it. This should've been $70, not the other slop we get fed for that price.

Not done quite yet but it has been great the entire way. Just the side content alone has kept me busy for hours and don't regret it. If you're thinking of getting it, just do so.

Actual Final Edit: Even after rolling credits there's a whole bunch of secret and puzzles to go through. I've been going at it and it is pretty neat regardless of me hating the RNG of drafting rooms and what feels like a complete waste of time most in-game days. I've gotten mostly over it though since there are certain things you can do to change odds and stuff of getting them. I've also played this longer and to leave the review negative after all the playtime and actual fun I've gotten out of it would be pretty bad of me. So, if you like puzzles, hidden secrets, doing the same math puzzle for the 70th+ time, and don't mind bashing your head against your keyboard because of some days just hating you and wasting your time, then yes, it is worth getting.

Initial Review (Negative):

Loving the game but I don't recommend it because the RNG to draft rooms is horrid like others have said. Having to rely mostly on luck sucks. Spoilers ahead: I managed to get the basement key once on day 2 and wandered around trying to find where it goes. Day four found the place and water has been drained so I can unlock the door. Guess what? I'm in day 16 now and haven't managed to get the basement key again. Always get hit by dead ends or not enough keys or no key card. Same thing happened when I got the car keys. Days without seeing the garage again, with the keys saved in that item place. So overall liking it but the terrible RNG will suck the joy out of it for most people. Just hours and hours repeating the math puzzle and the one with the boxes with some new rooms in between. Don't recommend it for now.

EDIT: I guessed I finished it? Opened door 46 or whatever. There might be more but the credits did roll. Definitely felt the luck with the finishing run. Also felt like I could have finished the game pretty much day 4 or 5 if RNG wasn't so ridiculous. Feels like a 2-3 hour game made much longer with the "rouge-like" elements stopping you from progressing even when you know exactly what to do days beforehand. Will keep at it to see if there's more to it, maybe it isn't the end despite the credits.

Even after rolling credits, I still do not recommend. Not for the current asking price.

Final Edit: After playing for countless more hours, the pros outweigh the RNG frustration (for me at least). Still mostly neutral though. If you value your time and are easily annoyed, avoid it. Otherwise it is honestly a great game and when you can actually solve the puzzles because RNG is nice to you to give you the right rooms, it feels great. And yes I understand some rooms only show up in certain areas, etc. but even so it still pretty random and you can go days without getting them.

Old, kinda janky, but love coming back to it and replaying it.

One of my favorite CRPGs. Loved every second, even with multiple playthroughs. Love building characters differently and seeing the differences with all the Mythic paths.
