I went in expecting a dumpster fire of a game because of the reviews, but I'm pleasantly surprised. This game is a lot of fun, I've only played solo so far and can say I'm happy with my purchase. I got it on sale for 85% off, I would definitely NOT pay full price for this game though.

Honestly, this game is really fun and does a good job of making an engaging and addicting style of gameplay, in a world that feels huge. It's no NFSMW 2005, but its a respectable entry in the series.

It's the best we have for current gen NASCAR, but it's a reflection of the sport in today's age. It's just lifeless and empty feeling now, long gone are the days of NASCAR Thunder 2004/Chase for the Cup 2005, just like the days of Jeff Gordon, Dale Sr., Michael Waltrip, Davey Allison, etc. are over. It'll never be the same as it used to be, and while it's a decent game, it doesn't hold a candle to what once was. The soundtrack is pretty catchy though, and racing with a wheel/pedals brings it to the next level.
