don't buy deluxe (unless you want xp boosts and in-game emotes), stick to basic bicc edition (SP (2 campaigns, US/GRM), MP (only GER/RUS locked), Coop, Workshop access) or season pass (for GER/RUS SP campaign/MP faction) if you have the cash
I bought deluxe, felt scammed, but game was good to go through process of refund.
AI pretty dumb on normal compared to MOW:AS2, but okay on hard/heroic (I believe)
There are skirmishes/conquest modes against AI, so AI is not locked (yet) behind a paywall DLC (unlike MOW:AS2) so you can have fun solo/coop.
EDIT:
basic edition: US and GRM FULL unlock all units, UAF and Rebels only limited unlock (can be unlocked with XP via multiplayer)
delux: US, GRM, Rebels, UAF FULL unlock + GER / RUS limited unlock when out of beta boosters sitckers etc
season pass: ALL +boosters stickers etc

It's not a game I look forward to playing everyday, but once I pick it up again, I would not notice 5 hrs had passed already.

Overall: BUY THIS GAME NOW
Positive: Really nailed the faces, the story, and the crime solving elements.
Negative: Glitches, slow render of the map on crappy PCs/ Laptops, dull body movements
Conclusion: Buy this game if you want to be a cop / detective in the late 1940s.

Overall: You haven't probably known microtransactions until you've played this game
Positive: New interesting mechanics and visuals compared to the 1st game. Various commanders will make you need to identify their weaknesses and strengths.
Negative: Microtransaction overload. From purchasable visual skins to OP commanders, prepare to be overwhelmed by a easily flawed points system. Some of the purchasable commanders are overpowered compared to your starting roster of commanders. Pay to win is very plausible.
Conclusion: Buy this game if you love RTS games overall. If you played the first game, prepare to be heart broken by the microtransactions and a flawed points system. I really love this game and the franchise overall. Hopefully this microtransaction BS and the flawed points system will never be in the next game.
