Early Access Review
Good idea, horribly undercooked. If you want to get it now fine. If you want an enjoyable experience wait another 2 or 3 years. The developer is way in over their head. Basic issues that already existed at the start of the early access like memory leaks, bad tutorials and more are still a thing.

I wouldn't call myself a diehard fan of the MH franchise, but I like it a lot. I think my playtime is a testament to that statement.
I forced myself through crashes, low performance, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up visuals (low poly Rey Dau is not a fun fight).
The game, at its core, is good. Not the greatest or exceptional, but it is good.
Most of the monsters are fun. The build variety is there. The updates brought fun, new fights and endgame content.
I don't like the forced "hard" RNG of artisan weapons and the talismans. I think the community would have enjoyed those two mechanics more if they were "soft" RNG, like the Safi Jiva weapons were; you can reroll the stats instead of having to grind out a whole new weapon/talisman just to be disappointed.

Be that as it may, the one thing that breaks all those good intentions, the great gameplay, the reasonable monster variety, and especially any ounce of fun you can have with a game like that, is the performance.
I know it's an old hat, and a billion people before me and a billion people after me will ♥♥♥♥ on Wilds for the same reason,
but it still has the potential to be accessible and fun.
One significant performance patch is all it takes. If they manage to pull their heads out of their asses and put some work into their product, it will become (IMO) one of the greatest Monster Hunter games that has ever existed or will ever exist. (Nata story is still ♥♥♥♥ tho lol)

Until that happens, however, I am unable to give anything other than a negative rating.
That being said, if you work at NASA and can brute force the game, and you don't care about RNG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that only exists to eat your playtime, go for it.

I'll catch you in the Hub.

Early Access Review
0.3 made the game playable. Only issues now are content, server stability and balancing (Drop rates for keys).

7/10 atm
10/10 if finished

Kinda buggy, crashes sometimes and the mutants are way too tanky.

BUT, its a stalker game and fans of the previous ones will be happy.
How do i know that?
Im a fan and i am

Act I and Act II are the highlights of the game. The rest seems not really "fleshed out". The Endings are all kinda similar with some minor variations regarding what faction controlls what or "wins".

Wait for story-changes/updates or just enjoy a turnbased adventure rpg.

After more than a 120 hours into this mess that has the audacity to call itself "Borderlands" i can´t really say a whole lot about it.
The Gameplay is Borderlands (Shoot and Loot) with the addition of probably the most cringeworthy dialogue i had to witness. The story is kinda okay with the exception of killing of THE BEST CHARACTER THEY HAD TO OFFER in favour of THE MOST ANNOYING CHARACTER THEY EVER INTRODUCED.
After that it was just a slippery slope down into the Mariana Trench (Hi James).
The music is nice.
The DLC´s feel like what medium rare chicken tastes like.
What can i say. It is a Borderlands title that looks/performs better than previous ones but is subpar in every other category when compared to said previous Borderland Titles.
6.5/10 would be fair
0/10 would be deserved for killing the one which was held most dear
