Who am I

My name is Ole Solheim Salvesen, and I am currently a master's student in finance. While my academic pursuits keep me busy most of the time, I enjoy taking breaks to indulge in my favorite pastime: gaming. Specifically, I'm a big fan of strategy games, construction and builders, and survival games. There's something about these types of games that really speaks to my analytical side - I love having to think critically and plan out my moves in advance.

Game plays.

Of course, I'm not opposed to a little bit of first-person shooter action now and then, either. But for the most part, I prefer games that really put my problem-solving skills to the test. On a typical Saturday evening, you can often find me hunkered down in front of my computer, engrossed in a round of Hearts of Iron IV. There's just something about the complexity of that game that keeps me coming back for more.

Real-life activites.

When I'm not gaming or studying, I enjoy taking advantage of the beautiful Norwegian summers. There's nothing quite like exploring the great outdoors, whether it's going for a hike in the mountains or taking a dip in the fjords. All in all, I like to think that my love of gaming and my appreciation for the natural world complement each other nicely - after all, they both require a certain level of creativity, imagination, and problem-solving ability.

Let us play!

Also, if you're a fellow gaming enthusiast and would like to join me in some adventures in one of the many games Steam(tm) offers, don't hesitate to send me a Steam(tm) message. I'm always up for some friendly competition, and who knows - you might even beat me! Just give me a heads up in advance, and we can plan a gaming session that works for both of us in the upcoming weekend.
