Tried to install the game on my Steam Deck, can't even log in because of a 1020 access denied error. Playable on the Deck, well not for me. Search for a solution through Google, but nothing works the access is still denied and I am not willing to install a VPN.

I will look for another game like this and spend my money over there instead of in Runescape. If you do have a good suggestion for a game like this and which does work on the Deck please let me know! Grindy is ok, micro transaction not!

Runs out the box on the Steam Deck!

What a great beginners puzzle game this is! The story is fun to follow, the puzzles are not too hard. The graphics look gorgeous on the Steam Deck. The voice acting did make me laugh. So I can do nothing else then recommend this game. No scary moments, just a great game to play before bedtime.

This is the best screensaver I have ever bought! It's so relaxing and fun at the same time. At first I bought only the base game, but the game was so enjoyable for me that I also bought all the DLC's. And I really can recommend the Discord too, it's a nice and friendly Discord server, with a lot of people who are willing to help to make your collection complete!

I have played the game on the Steam Deck, just adjust your buttons to the Steam controller settings and you are ready to go.

For me this was one of the most enjoyable puzzle games, the puzzles were not too hard, but sometimes you just have to think hard. I have played the game on the Steam Deck, with some troubles, but the devs are really active with solving the bugs, which I really appreciated, just join the OnSkull Discord and they are there for you!

I loved the theme of this game, the humor from the book was funny. The creation of potions were good, but be warned for a potion addiction. Just don't drink them too much!

If there ever is going to be an Escape The Alchemist II, it will be an instant buy for me...

The game is great, but ...

it is a pain to let stop the game crashing over and over again on the Steam Deck. I have triend many versions of Proton, limited the FPS to 30, reduced the graphics quallity to low, everything higher then that has only one thing for sure, it will crashing more and more...

Playable? Yes if you really want to play the game and have no problems with saving many many many times to prefent losing a lot of items and progress. If not search further to another game, whicht don't have this issues on the Deck.

If I knew this before I would have asked for a refund, but sadly enough I did not know you can't ask for a refund after 2 weeks you did buy the game.

This game is unplayable on the Steam Deck. I have tried different Proton versions and also without Proton, but it is crash over crash over crash. The game does have only a auto save mode which happens far too little, so you have to play long scenes over and over again.

This was really a waste, I could have better bought another game.

Fastest uninstall I ever did. I did try out the game in the free to play period on my Steam Deck, but I am not going to play a game with a magnifier. The text in game is way too small so it is not entertaining to play the game for me on my Steam Deck.

Too bad because I did have a lot of fun with it on my PS4 Pro.

But games with so many text deserve language packets. The game isn´t very easy and hard because not having enough knowledge of the English language. I really would have loved it, when the game was also available in Dutch. Now I have to use Google Assistent quite a lot, which distracts me from the game.

How did this game get the Steam Deck Verified stamp? There is not one cut scene playing on the Steam Deck! Which makes the game pretty boring.
