Dead game.

PLEASE UPDATE THE GAME TO LET ME DISABLE THE AUTO STEER ASSIST, IT'S SO FRUSTRATING.

I have some positives I enjoy with this game and some things that drive me up a wall farther than the aliens go. They are listed below.

× Okay, so by my current hour count I've played through the entire game 3 times (roughly) as it takes me an average of 6 hours to go from the first mission to the last based on my first stream of this game.

× There are certain rare bugs that I've been unfortunately enough to encounter, with an example being:
At certain parts of the game there are sequences that you have to hold out and survive waves of oncoming enemies. There is a bug currently where instead of the enemies coming in waves like they are designed to, the game will literally throw them all at you at the same time, causing your FPS to drop and likely get overwhelmed, causing you to restart the entire mission all over again. My first play through I did not experience this once, but during the times of going back and playing it all again I've run into the bug 3 times. But keep in mind the game is still on version 1.00.

× I'd like to also advise that FPS is an issue on certain levels, even on a desktop that specs much higher than the recommended specs. Sure the specs list on the page say an average of 60fps, which is technically true. Most of the time the average FPS is (for the most part) around 60-80 (which isn't great when you consider how well my PC specs above the recommended with an RTX 2070S and an i7-9700k, both overclocked respectively. I can also tell it's very much an issue with the game because I never go over 60-70% utilization on either piece of hardware on bare minimum all the way to the highest graphics settings.

× One big flaw with me is there is one form of communicating with your allies in game, and that is with the handy use of a pinging feature. But besides that, there is no text chat, and there is no voice chat.

× On the upside the game has protection against certain soft locks that also can happen (very rarely) during these hold out sequences. Sometimes an alien will spawn in a space or get stuck out of bounds where you can't shoot them, which normally would be bad and force a restart, but fortunately, the game has a check where if an Alien is unable to get to the player, it will die and respawn within a few minutes. So it's nice the devs went an extra mile with that check, which also shows me they actually did some play testing.

Now, even with the bugs in the game, I still enjoy playing it. And sure, I recommend it because it is still a fun game, but would I recommend paying full price for it? It depends on how much enjoyment you think you can get out of a game with ~6 hours of unique game play (not including the extra mode). I'm still unlocking extra attachments that I haven't used, yet. It also takes a while to upgrade a class to the max, if you're OCD like I am.

I got the Deluxe Edition so I can update the review later to mention what is being given to me for having it, but at this time the "perks" of having the more costly edition are going to be listed below.

- Endeavor Veteran Pack: Basically a couple skins I never used because there's a couple fancier ones in the store I saved up to buy with in-game currency.

Cool game. Such monsters, much world.

It's fun game. I describe it as open world Left 4 Dead with dinos instead of zombies.

Some achievements are bugged, and there are a few bugs that happen from time to time but overall it's a good port.

Do you not get the new DLC when you buy Collector's Edition?

After an hour of messing with controller configs, I simply cannot get the car to stop drifting to the right, making it unplayable. It needs to allow a better deadzone on an Xbox One controller.

I don't have this issue with any other games.

Disgusted by this game to the point of borderline PTSD.

Was fun, but due to R* terrible programming, cheaters could actually get you banned.
How do they fix it? By taking legal action so now no one can mod in single player either. Great idea...
