Truly a horrible game.
The level design is horrible, the characters are uninteresting, the combat is uninspired, repetitive & boring, the enemies, except for perhaps the headliners, are even less interesting than the protagonists.
The cosmetics that you're supposed to buy are ugly & many don't fit with the game at all.
Even the user/game interface is horrible. For example you can't exit to the main menu until you've completed the prologue... trying to do so exits the game. In fact almost everything is hidden behind having to complete the prologue. Want to see which content you can purchase? Have to complete the prologue. Want to change profiles to an old one? Have to complete the prologue. It's the epitome of poor design.
This game truly deserves a 'extremely negative' score.
The main takeaway you should have for this game is the credits. Use it as a lost of people to not hire for your multimedia project.
Even at the $5.50 local currency I purchased the 'deluxe' version for it's over priced.
Skip it.

Very buggy on release; been a couple of weeks & no patches to fix even the most basic of bugs... like the voice lines playing at the wrong time during character creation.
Minor graphical upgrade compared to the original but not decades worth of technical advances worth.
Off hand it's looking like a pump & dump.

Bought it because players said there would be bot support for people who can't play online.
After years of the developers going 'soon' for bots... the game still has no bots & always online DRM.
I'd refund it if I could... but I'll make sure I tell anyone looking for a MP game that this is one product to be wary of.

Worst thing is the outlandish skins.
Best Battlefield so far.

It may be one of the best Final Fantasy games to date.
More Action-RPG than JRPG it does the Action-RPG very well. It's hard to believe it came from Square Enix.
The materia system has been made to allow players a lot more variation on a single character, summons are much more likely.

Full of call backs to the Dirt League's YouTube series, as a regular watcher, the game makes me laugh and chuckle.
Not overly complex the game is, so far, a decent game to break out when you're feeling burned out but still feel like playing something.
At a reasonable price the Dirt league hasn't been greedy & being 2D with out 1000000 textures the game should run fine on lower powered devices if you're looking for something to play on the go or can't afford an upgrade.
My only disappointment so far is the lack of Steam cards which they hopefully correct soon.

Konami won't fix the controls if you're using a keyboard & mouse.

Ghost Of Tsushima's poor cousin.
Combat is not nearly as engaging as Ghost Of Tsushima (GOT); it basically boils down to parry/dodge, strike, repeat. While GOT's can be repetitive it still feels more dynamic than this, with more moves to pull off.
The interface in Shadows is very in your face & situation feedback to players feels less organic than GOT; Shadows feels like you need the GUI while GOT feels like the GUI is immersion breaking.
As for an actual Assassin's Creed game... I'd still rate this as pretty low. It's a decent enough game but, like most game in the series for awhile now, not really an Assassin's Creed... just an open world adventure game.
Assassinations feel better than they have in most of the AC games in awhile however I'd still rate Mirage as the better Assassin's Creed game with Shadows being equal to perhaps AC: Odyssey. It's far better than AC: Valhalla but not up to AC2.
I'd say this was Ubisoft's attempt to copy GOT but as usual they've missed what players actually enjoy.
While the overwhelming tidal wave of micro-transactions appears to be gone, they haven't actually made it more player friendly; they appear to be attempting to use a 'game as a service' model for a single player game with content locked behind single event quests in game. Instead of your $ they're now harvesting your info for... Tencent probably.
Over all this is an average game; I made the mistake of buying it full price; I recommend you purchase it at decent discount or go purchase Ghost Of Tsushima which, overall, is a better Samurai/Ninja game.

Getting a thumbs down, despite being a legendary JRPG, because GungHo is obviously just after a cash grab from the biggest video game marketplace on the planet.
While the port is better than running the game in an emulator it is barely better.
Lacking many of the features of a well done PC port GungHo has done nothing to make it enjoyable to modern audiences. Worse it appears to be a pump & dump... something Lunar definitely didn't deserve. There's no communication from GungHo, no patches in 2 weeks, nothing.
If you've never played Lunar it's a great game... but get this sad non-effort from yet another game developer who thinks they're too good for customer on a deep sale... least 40% off.

Was decent enough; but they've started putting ads on the title screen & that's a 'not recommended' action.
