Joke of a game. Not the game they promised. Now with the studio shutting down, it can be considered an actual scam.

Just another extraction shooter and a hollow one at that. No sights of an open-world MMO survival game, post-pandemic America shown in the fake gameplay(now taken down) looking like a cross between The Last of Us, The Division, and could have been the next DayZ. A more transparent approach would have been releasing a rushed early access version of something like DayZ.

The game is a fun time, a 3-man team putting more effort into their game than some AAA titles. As an early participant in its journey, I've witnessed the developers immense passion and their inspiration from the Battlefield series. Though its focus on a niche player base has led to a diminished presence on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and player base in general. The developers are commendably active with updates and notably, there are no microtransactions, DLCs, or game pass system. Despite the challenges, the game still holds promise. Being in its early stages, there is room to keep improving and revive its initial success.

Lost Ark had its potential, not to be the best MMO but to at least keep a community and shape its own area like WOW and FFXIV. I got Lost Ark since launch and hoped it could have done better than Amazon's previous published game. The game has cool classes and interesting gameplay aspects that caught my attention. My biggest negatives is how time consuming the game was and the amount of rampant botting which lead to a garbage market. I didn't mind the p2w aspect but it did turn everything into a race. The campaign/story was alright but dragged out and felt somewhat hollow. I enjoyed doing random quests and exploring around different islands. I was more interested in the PVE events and playing solo. Over time everything became very tedious with the daily activities. It would have been nice if the western release had as much creative freedom as the Korean version like skins and other events as well as a more stronger road map.

Yes the game was released too early, it was hyped up and pushed to a point and led to releasing with countless bugs and problems. It was over exaggerated, you can look at many AAA games released over the year 2021; there is too much pressure and the release dates are rushed. Over time the devs have been fixing the issues in numerous patches. The Witcher 3 at launch also had many bugs and problems but has now become a favorite with dozens of awards and nominations and a contender for best game. I've seen various playthroughs ranging from eighth gen consoles to "$10k" PCs... there are requirements for a reason, I don't think the game was made for last gen consoles or a 760 or even should be. The game is not bad as everyone made it to be. The game has amazing graphics, soundtrack, and story. There is so much to do in the city outside of the main story; the characters, quests, and writing are good. It's not a game for everyone, its a futuristic open world action RPG. I will come back to the game eventually to have a full playthrough of my own along with the future DLCs and online multiplayer. From what I seen, the game has improved greatly and also goes on sale quite often. The game still has potential.

Outstanding horror game and with only one developer, this is amazing for what it is. The game allows you can play by yourself or play with others and provides a variety of maps and ghosts. This is a very enjoyable game especially with friends who aren't good with horror games. It would be nice to see larger lobby/party sizes.
