Early Access Review
I'm a massive fan of the SSX series and have been keeping an eye on this game since it first popped up in SSX communities as a topic of discussion. I was very pleased to see it come up for early access and bought it as soon as I saw. I've extremely excited to see where this goes and in it's current state it's already very fun. The controls and tricks feel very nice and tight, definitely the first indie snowboarding game I have seen that is promising to capture the essence of what made SSX so great.

If you're interested in snowboarding games you should pick this up in early access and help support a developer who is trying to recapture and deliver the type of classic fun gaming experience that the big studios seem completely disinterested in offering anymore.

I used to be a big Overwatch fan prior to boycotting Blizzard over OW2. I was at first skeptical of this game because of the innumerable bugs and P2W card system that used to define the experience.

However now it is an excellent game, the P2W aspects have been absent for a long time now and despite some bugs still existing they are nowhere near as bad as they used to be. If you have a negative view of the game I highly recommend that you don't just give it the Nickelback treatment, it is a great game now and very much worth playing.

One of the best parts of it to me is the load-out, talent, and item systems that allows you to completely change the play style of the different champions and counter both the enemy champions as well as deficits in your team.

8/10 overall, the only things stopping it from being higher is occasional latency issues and non game breaking bugs

Extremely fun game. There are some oddities here and there but all in all it generally works very well. I play it on Linux with proton as well and that also works great.

It has a very notable learning curve but after playing for several hours it feels like second nature. Some terminology can also be potentially challenging for someone who doesn't skate and some spots can be hard to find for someone who isn't well versed in skateboarding lore but it's nothing that you can't figure out with a Google search or two.

The settings are also amazing, being able to control every aspect of how the game feels is awesome. From max push speed to pop height to friction and catch angles EVERYTHING can be adjusted. If that sounds like too much don't worry, the default options provide a good out of the box experience.

The only gripe I have is the lack of grabs and flips, though I am hopeful they will continue to expand upon it and possibly include those in future updates. I also hope they will add a little more control to the object dropper/placer in the future as currently it doesn't seem to be possible to adjust the height of placed objects which does make it tricky to place things on uneven terrain.

In closing this game is a load of fun if you like a simple game with a nearly unlimited skill ceiling and maximum customization options I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this. Just don't expect it to be easy right off the bat.

Not an overly difficult or long game, but still an extremely enjoyable experience overall. It's a fun calm take on traditional platformer games. You'll also not end up horribly frustrated by this game as the levels are so short you'll never find yourself losing more than a few seconds of progress any time you die.

I don't even think an explanation is required. This is hands down one of the best shooters ever made and the best hat simulator ever made. Just the massive variety of playstyles offered through the 9 classes and countless subclasses make this game something special. The only gripe I can think of is the toxicity of some players.
