As an all time fan, starting when UFO: Enemy Unknown was released and later Terror from the Deep, i have only 1 word for this game : Fantastic.
Everything is as it should be.

This game is hard to get started in, there is no "hand-holding" your put into the galaxy and can do whatever you want.
The many reviews here on steam are proof of that.

Most Negative reviews are from people whom simply "didn't cut it" and "gave up" after an hour or two.
Most Positive reviews are from people whom played this game a lot longer then a mere hour or two, and made their way through space.

In short, don't let any reviews, even this one, impact your opinion, look on youtube for some videos and create your own.

Good fun game, the expansion made it even better.

Fixed my issues, lots of fun

Continously stuck on the Galactic War Loading screen. (waited over 15 mins)
Followed Advice on Forums, nothing fixed it, updated drivers, didn't fix it.
Spend well over an hour trying to fix it.

Refund Pending.

Great game, new stuff, new visuals, and they were extremely fast in fixing the Single Player and Private options in.
All in all good work!

Stay away from this trash, it is not optimized for higher end computers, so your big PC will only show 5fps.
Dont be fooled in the lies from the devs and the steam store page, the game craps out majorly and to make matters even worse there is a plethora of game breaking glitches around.

These people do -not- deserve your hard earned money.
