I purchased because it stated it was Steam Deck Verified...I spent around 30 minutes running different settings and even messed with the BIOS settings on the deck and could not even successfully get to the in game menu screen. THIS SHOULD NOT BE VERIFIED ON STEAM DECK

In it's current state it is not playable. It's free...but it's not fun.

I haven't been this excited to play a multiplayer game with friends in a long time. This game scratches the multiplayer itch for me. I feel part of a team and the vibe is just the right kind of goofy for me to enjoy it.

Edit: I'm doing my part. SONY and Arrowhead requiring PSN but then allowing it to be sold in countries where PSN is not available is egregious. I'm thankful to hear there are refunds being honored but it's insane to take away a massive part of the playerbase due to corporate greed.

Edit #2: Democracy prevails. Switching this buckaroo back.

Absolutely love everything about this game. It's amazing to play with friends and from what I've experienced so far plays great on steam deck.

I was excited to play this solely because I have a steam deck and this type of FPS would be perfect for bite sized play times on the deck...unfortunately there was no way I was able to get the steam deck controls to work after all my time in the game was spent troubleshooting it. I don't think it should be verified as playable on deck if the native deck controls aren't detected or usable. There were no fixes I was able to find and the problem has been reported multiple times for deck users. If the game worked as intended I'd probably recommend it. I can't recommend it if you plan on playing it on steam deck.

Feels old school with the mechanics and collectibles. Its a nostalgia trip that I'm enjoying.

Fantastic story. Play it on easy to get the full enjoyment out of the game.

Worst game purchase I've ever had the misfortune of making. The controls are confusing. When I had played it there seemed to be no sort of tutorial or introduction. As a player I was left to figure everything out and the game looked so bad that I was not inclined to try or invest in trying. This is garbage.

Very fun game. Takes a little getting used to, but when you are playing together as a team it can be really fun. Playing as a zombie is just as fun if not more fun than playing as a human.
