Fantasy ground is a very powerful tool for playing role-playing games with friends over the internet. Though getting to grips with FG's programming language is complex at first after some experimenting the possibilities open up even further.

I am currently using the program to run Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition so my comments are based on that.

Adventure Modules are purchasable and give arguably the best way to use FG having all the content of an adventure prepared for FG use. Though you don’t need to purchase anything additional as the SRD for 5th edition is available upon purchase.

As for licences free and standard users can play with an ultimate user or people with standard licences can play together. So, costs can be spread through all participants or only one person could purchase ultimate and everyone else uses free. The DM will front the costs for any content purchased however.

Thought the price may seem shocking at first for the base and the DLCs. I can almost guarantee if you like medieval history with a little bit of ridiculousness mixed in occasionally then this game is 100% for you!

This game was the RPG that I grew up on and that gives it a rather soft spot in my heart. The games story, character development and choice/karma system that makes this RPG game similar to others. But KotOR II goes above and beyond with characters that you'll love and ones that you'll hate. Also lightsabers.

Check it out.

Although the graphics are sligntly outdated, this game still finds many areas to shine. The dialouge for example can be both funny and serious with a high intellegence character and utterly stupid with a low intellegence character. Also the turn-based combat will bring most RPG fans back to the good old days where combat was incredibly stratigical and fun. Finally the story is very emotional if you take the time to delve into the characters and their stories.

I recommend this game to any Fallout fan.
