The pvp and permadeath make for some really extreme pvp battles. Feels like what the world would be like after a zombie apocalypse. Scavenge for equipment and find an ally, head to a major site like a military base and get ready for action. Be ready to sweat from the adrenaline! Trust no one! 10/10

Game is far from dead!

Sure the player count has its ups and downs but this game is far from dead. Add me as a friend and anytime I'm in game I usually have tons of friends that join in. The game has waves of people that join after work hours in the US and then it shifts over to foreign players that hop on our servers after late night U.S.

There are over 30 official servers up all the time. US, UK and AUS based.

The game has some cool unique modes that make it a must buy:

Hunted game mode servers- all pvp mode with options like using your in game cellphone to buzz other players in game phones, alerting zombies of their location.

Escape Game mode servers- As named you work as a team to do objectives to escape the map.

Flatline Mode- Working as a team you get cash for kilss to use to buy better equipment to suvive up to 10 waves of zombies then escape.

Classic Sega 3rd person. Slick modern aiming system. 360 controller mapping. If your into progressive character development give this a try. Buy on sale.

Just like the rest of the source revisions GO expands and even futher polishes up on source. Slick GUI. Great gun skin system and items. steam workshop tons of great maps. Valve even gave cash prizes to the several users whos custom maps were chosen as part of OPERATION PAYBACK. Must buy.
